I say it is for the sake of cessation. The meaning of the first sentence is that phenomena such as form and sound, just as they appear now, do not actually exist, so the non-existence of things is called emptiness. The second sentence says that the nature of phenomena such as form and sound, because that nature does not have things, is called self-nature emptiness. The third sentence says that if someone thinks that combining the emptiness of non-things and the emptiness of self-nature mentioned above into one, then things exist, then because the two combined do not have things, it is called the emptiness of non-things self-nature. Why? Because all phenomena are born relying on many different causes and conditions, and arise and cease in every moment, so it is neither a constantly existing thing nor is it completely and thoroughly nothing. Therefore, I say that all phenomena abide in dependent origination and cease. The so-called establishing the dharmas on the side of bodhi as the way of ground and antidote, bodhi has three types: shravaka bodhi, pratyekabuddha bodhi, and unsurpassed bodhi, which refers to obtaining the wisdom of exhaustion and non-birth. The dharmas on that side refer to becoming a cause and method-like companion in order to obtain it, that is, the things that will appear below. The ground refers to the ten grounds from entering the stream to the first ground, etc. The antidote refers to preventing and cutting off the unfavorable aspects of those grounds, such as stinginess, etc., which means establishing a relationship like enemies and adversaries. The four mindfulnesses are mindfulness of body, mindfulness of feeling, mindfulness of mind, and mindfulness of dharma. Among them, mindfulness is wisdom, which refers to knowing the nature of dharma as it is without being inverted, and is combined with vipassana. Near abiding refers to focusing on it with one mind as wisdom observes, and is combined with shamatha. There are three types of body, namely inner, outer, and inner-outer. Among them, the inner body refers to one's own body. The outer refers to the vessel world such as plants and trees that are not grasped by consciousness. The inner-outer body refers to from oneself

Starting from inanimate objects like plants, the inner is the body of other sentient beings. Among these, for the inner body, its own nature is arising and being transformed by arising, can be destroyed and demolished, and the common characteristic is impermanence and suffering. From the crown of the head to the soles of the feet, it is measured by the nature of various impure things such as pus, serum, phlegm, and so on. The inner and outer bodies are also similar to this. The own nature of the outer body is the aggregation of minute particles, and the common characteristic is the same as above. If it is determined by wisdom and focused on single-pointedly, this is called mindfulness of the body. Feeling is the three kinds of feelings that arise in relation to the inner body, which is called inner feeling. Similarly, what arises in relation to the outer body is called outer feeling, and what arises in relation to both inner and outer bodies is called inner and outer feeling, and should be combined into three types in this way. Among them, what makes the body and mind feel comfortable is the feeling of pleasure. What makes the body and mind feel tormented is the feeling of pain. What does not feel either tormented or comfortable is the feeling of equanimity. The common characteristics of these feelings are the same as above, and the own nature is that all three feelings have the nature of suffering. Painful feeling is pervaded by the suffering of suffering, pleasant feeling is pervaded by the suffering of change, and equanimous feeling is pervaded by the suffering of conditioning. Therefore, recognizing this and focusing on it single-pointedly is mindfulness of feeling. There are twenty types of mind, namely, from the mind with desire to the mind without desire, the mind with hatred and the mind without hatred, the mind with delusion and the mind without delusion, the collected mind, the distracted mind, the timid mind, the elevated mind, the agitated mind, the unagitated mind, the peaceful mind, the unpeaceful mind, the mind that is very evenly placed, the mind that is not very evenly placed, the mind that has highly cultivated the path, the mind that has not highly cultivated the path, the mind that is liberated from highly cultivating the path, and the mind that is not liberated from highly cultivating the path, there are twenty types of mind in total. If these are summarized, there are two types: the mind during investigation and the mind during abiding. Among these, from having desire to being deluded,
