However, not being angry because of that, and not giving rise to evil thoughts. The patience of realization of Dharma means that when profound meanings such as emptiness, selflessness, or no arising and no ceasing are explained, the mind is not alarmed, and because faith and joy arise in these meanings, it is called the perfection of patience. The perfection of diligence has three aspects: armor, accumulating merit, and benefiting sentient beings. Firstly, vowing to strive for the benefit of all sentient beings and for unsurpassed enlightenment until the end of samsara is the diligence of armor. Continuously listening to the Dharma, contemplating, and meditating is the diligence of accumulating merit. Guiding sentient beings by the four means of gathering and leading them towards virtue through skillful means is called the diligence of benefiting sentient beings. The perfection of meditation has three aspects: abiding in bliss in this life, manifesting qualities, and benefiting sentient beings. Among these, the samadhi of non-conceptualization and the cessation attainment are the meditation of abiding in bliss in this life. By the samadhi of heroic progress and so on, one can obtain all the great qualities of the Buddhas, which is the meditation of manifesting qualities. By cultivating meditation, obtaining the six supernormal knowledges, and gladdening beings' minds through physical miracles; by knowing the minds of others and teaching the Dharma in accordance with their minds, thus turning them away from non-virtue and leading them towards virtue, this is called the meditation of benefiting sentient beings. The perfection of wisdom has three aspects: realizing one's own benefit, realizing the benefit of others, and the wisdom of defeating opponents. Being skilled in the five sciences, among which inner science refers to being skilled in the meaning of the twelve divisions of scripture, thereby obtaining the wisdom of realizing one's own benefit. The science of healing refers to being skilled in the diagnosis and treatment of external four hundred and four diseases, and showing the antidotes to internal diseases such as attachment and hatred, such as love and compassion, which is the science of healing. Being skilled in all kinds of crafts is called the science of crafts, which increases the abilities of foolish beings.

and support them. Because of acting for sentient beings, through the two sciences of medicine and craftsmanship, one is able to understand the benefit of others. The two sciences of logic and grammar are expertise in the languages of astrology (Tibetan: ཏ་ར་ཀ་, Sanskrit Devanagari: तारका, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: tārakā, literal Chinese meaning: star) and grammar (Tibetan: བྱཱ་ཀ་ར་ཎ, Sanskrit Devanagari: व्याकरण, Sanskrit Roman transliteration: vyākaraṇa, literal Chinese meaning: grammar). Through these two sciences, one is able to refute heretics and so on, therefore it is called the wisdom of subduing opponents. The perfection of generosity means that whatever amount of virtue is accumulated, even if it is only a little, it is shared with all sentient beings and dedicated to the unsurpassed great Bodhi, therefore its result is immeasurably great and inexhaustible. The perfection of aspiration means that wherever I am born in future lives, may I never be separated from the mind of Bodhi, and for the benefit of all sentient beings, may I never cease to practice the conduct of the pāramitās. The perfection of strength has two aspects, namely innate strength and strength of cultivation. Among them, through the wisdom combined with samādhi, seeing that all internal and external phenomena are empty and without self, therefore no attachment arises to them, this is called innate strength. Although diligence is strong and wisdom is weak, due to the power of habituation, one accomplishes virtuous deeds effortlessly, this is called the strength of cultivation. Because these strengths cannot be shaken by adverse factors such as stinginess. The perfection of wisdom means that one understands that the nature of all phenomena is emptiness, therefore the Bodhisattva Mahāsattva is able to freely enjoy the vast wealth of Dharma. If one asks, what are the ten Bodhisattva grounds that are the occasion of cause and effect? The pāramitās are the cause, and the ten grounds are the result, therefore it can be explained as having a connection. What are the ten grounds? This is the introduction, and it is actually related to what will be explained below. Among them, the first ground is the Joyful Ground, for example, if a poor person obtains a precious jewel, he will be very happy because he has obtained such a supremely precious jewel that he has never seen before. Similarly, one directly sees the realm of Dharma that has never been seen before, and is able to perfectly accomplish the benefit of oneself and others, namely generosity.

Having perfected, the immeasurable difference of joy arises, therefore the first ground is called the Extremely Joyful Ground. The second ground is the Stainless Ground, the stains are liking the Dharma of Samsara and liking the Lesser Vehicle, that is, doing unwholesome deeds and having no compassion. These two stains are not present in the second ground, so it is the Stainless Ground. Or, the discipline is perfected, and even in dreams, one does not do evil deeds of discipline, so it is called the Stainless Ground. The third ground, the Illuminating Ground, is that the perfection of patience is complete, one seeks to hear without regard for body and life, dispels the ignorance of oneself and others, and generates wisdom, which is called the Illuminating Ground. The fourth ground is the Radiating Light Ground, the perfection of diligence is complete, by meditating on the aspects of enlightenment, wisdom like fire arises, burning afflictions like plants, therefore it is called the Radiating Light Ground. The fifth ground is the Very Difficult to Subdue Ground, the perfection of meditative concentration is complete, the wisdom of non-discrimination does not decline from meditative concentration, and benefiting sentient beings is not interrupted, both are practiced equally, which is extremely difficult, so it is called the Very Difficult to Subdue Ground. The sixth ground is the Manifest Ground, the perfection of wisdom is complete, the meaning of dependent origination, arising and ceasing without duality, is manifestly realized, hence it is called the Manifest Ground. The seventh ground is the Far-Reaching Ground, the perfection of skillful means is complete, one exhausts the characteristics of entering with effort and diligence, and is separated from characteristics, hence it is called the Far-Reaching Ground. The eighth ground is the Immovable Ground, the perfection of strength is complete, the absence of characteristics is spontaneously accomplished, the power of wisdom overwhelms the characteristics, and does not arise even slightly, hence it is called the Immovable Ground. The ninth ground is the Good Intelligence Ground, the perfection of aspiration is complete, understanding the individual meanings of Dharma, understanding the individual meanings of meaning, understanding the individual meanings of words, understanding the individual meanings of eloquence, possessing the four individual correct knowledges, becoming a great Dharma teacher, hence it is called the Good Intelligence Ground. The tenth ground is called the Cloud of Dharma Ground, the perfection of wisdom
