It is permanent because the wheel of Dharma is turned without interruption. Because that is not the root, great conduct and perfection will not manifest, so it is called impermanent. The Sambhogakaya is continuous because it holds and gathers all the unique Dharmas of all Buddhas. Because sentient beings are inexhaustible, conduct is inexhaustible, therefore it is permanent. Because that is not the root, great conduct and perfection will not manifest, so it is impermanent. The Dharmakaya is not a conditioned Dharma, it has no separate characteristics, and it is the root and basis, so it is permanent. Son of the lineage, apart from non-discriminating wisdom, there is no noble wisdom. If one is separated from the Dharma of the true limit, there is no realm of activity for the noble ones. These two true aspects are neither one nor different. Therefore, the Dharmakaya is completely pure wisdom and completely pure realm of activity, so it is called completely pure and perfect. Relying on the Dharmakaya, the great Samadhi, which is inconceivable, will become manifest. All great wisdom will also become manifest, therefore, the two Kayas also become manifest relying on Samadhi and wisdom. The Dharmakaya is called permanent because it relies on the nature of self. It is called self. Relying on great Samadhi, it is called bliss. Relying on great wisdom, it is called purity. Therefore, the Tathagata is said to abide in permanence, possessing bliss and purity. In order to counteract the conditioned phenomena created by sentient beings' karma and afflictions, which are impermanent, without autonomy, suffering, and impure, thus it was spoken. Again, in the same Sutra, it is said: Such a Dharmakaya, endowed with Samadhi and wisdom, transcends all characteristics, does not cling to characteristics, does not discriminate, is neither permanent nor impermanent, this is the Middle Way. Also in the "Holy Lankavatara Sutra" it is said: As long as the discrimination of words exists, there will be the faults of permanence and impermanence. Great wisdom, because the wisdom of discrimination is exhausted, so for the permanence and impermanence of children

The view is contrary, saying that it is not because the wisdom of solitude is exhausted. Therefore, it is inconceivable and cannot be expressed in words. In the *Mahāyānasaṃgraha* and the *Sūtrālaṃkāra*, it is said that all three bodies are permanent. The Dharmakāya is unchanging, therefore its nature is permanent. The Saṃbhogakāya has a continuous enjoyment of the Dharma, therefore it is an imperishable permanence. The Nirmāṇakāya appears again and again, therefore it is a continuous permanence. Another way of saying it is that the two bodies rely on the permanence of the Dharmakāya, therefore they are permanent. What is said in this way should actually be combined as before. Even if some sūtras say "permanent," believe it. Even if they say "impermanent," believe it. Even if they say "existent," believe it. Even if they say "non-existent," believe it. Even if they say "neither permanent nor impermanent, neither existent nor non-existent," believe it. Saying it in this way is also to follow mere words, and one should not grasp it in that way. One should understand the meaning of the intention, and it is in that way that one should grasp it. The eight consciousnesses are eye consciousness, ear consciousness, nose consciousness, tongue consciousness, body consciousness, mind consciousness, afflicted mind, and Ālayavijñāna. Among these, eye consciousness arises in dependence on the eye and form, and it only knows the characteristics of the object as blue, etc., but it is not mixed with the conceptual thought of "this is blue." Ear, nose, tongue, and body consciousness are also similar to this. These consciousnesses by their nature focus on external objects, and never focus on Suchness, therefore they are singular and finite. Mind consciousness arises in dependence on mind and phenomena, where mind refers to any consciousness that has just ceased. Phenomena refer to all conditioned and unconditioned phenomena, as well as all defiled and undefiled phenomena. The object of mind consciousness is all phenomena. Therefore, mind consciousness is both defiled and undefiled. These six entering consciousnesses are all virtuous.
