So it is. Then how should one dedicate? Dedicate to the unsurpassed great Bodhi. Until one becomes a Buddha, one can also incidentally obtain the happiness of gods and humans. After becoming a Buddha, abide in non-abiding Nirvana, and accomplish the benefit of sentient beings without end. Thus, the fruit of merit will never be exhausted. The eighth general meaning, the detailed classification of aspirations, has sixteen points: intention, not forgetting the mind of Bodhi, practicing without attachment, benefiting sentient beings, donning armor, associating with those who share the same path as Bodhisattvas, pleasing virtuous friends, directly seeing the Tathagatas, upholding the sacred Dharma, obtaining inexhaustible treasures, entering, strength, antidote, action, and dedicating to following the example, and finally, the conclusion. Among these, the first intention has four aspects: intending to make offerings to the Tathagatas, intending to fulfill the intentions of the Tathagatas, intending to purify the Buddha-fields, and intending to benefit and bring happiness to all sentient beings. Intending to make offerings to the Tathagatas and intending to fulfill the intentions of the Tathagatas are: "All Buddhas of the past and the ten directions, Wherever they abide in the worlds, may I make offerings and remember them. May those future Buddhas who have not yet appeared, Quickly fulfill their intentions and sequentially attain perfect enlightenment." This shows that the first two lines refer to making offerings to the Buddhas who have already attained Buddhahood and entered Nirvana in the past, and to those who are currently in various Buddha-fields in the ten directions, having attained Buddhahood and benefiting sentient beings, with the two kinds of unsurpassed offerings mentioned above. The last two lines say, may the intentions of those who have not yet appeared be fulfilled, becoming a condition for enlightenment, and may they quickly attain perfect enlightenment. Thus, intending to fulfill the intentions of the Tathagatas shows the practice of cultivating intention. Purifying the Buddha-fields is: "All the Buddha-fields in the ten directions, as many as the sands of the Ganges, may they all be vast and completely"

May it be pure. May the Victorious One who went forth from the Bodhi Tree King, and the Sons of the Buddha, completely fill the ten directions. Thus, thinking that all the various Buddha-fields that exist in the ten directions may be completely pure. There are two kinds of purity: purity in terms of the support, and purity in terms of what is supported. Thinking of purity in terms of the support means that in the world, the names of bad ravines, cliffs, filth, blood, and impurity are not even heard. The ground is made of various jewels, as flat and pleasant as the palm of the hand, and possesses such qualities. The Buddha-field itself is vast and wide, and all the resources in it are abundant and excellent. As stated in the Sutra Taught by the Noble Inexhaustible Intelligence: "In the Buddha-field of the Tathagata Samantabhadra, called Unblinking, there are no three lower realms or unfavorable conditions, nor is there any sound of suffering. There is no sound of delusion of transgression or affliction." And so on, "There is no sound of wrong teaching or past teaching, nor is there any sound of becoming a woman. There is no sound of stinginess, immoral discipline, harmful thoughts, laziness, distraction, or immoral wisdom." And so on, "There is no sound of hunger or thirst." Also, that world is as flat as the palm of the hand, and the blue lapis lazuli ground is adorned with lotuses of all kinds of jewels, as smooth as kacalinda, comfortable to the touch, with patterns drawn with jewel eyes, well decorated with jewel tree groves, always beautiful with blooming flowers. There are no stones, pebbles, or clods, no black mountains, but it is well adorned with Mount Meru. There is no difference between the enjoyments of gods and humans, and the food of those sentient beings is the joy of Dharma and the food of meditation. Also, that world is vast and wide, with sixty billion trillion hundred thousand nayutas of continents. By the aspiration of the Bodhisattva, it is illuminated by the light of one sun and moon." Also, the Akshobhya Arrangement Sutra and the Infinite Light
