There are two types: abandoning the obscuration of afflictions and abandoning the obscuration of knowledge. There are also two types of wisdom: all-knowing and unobstructed. In short, wisdom refers to unsurpassed wisdom. "Progressively attaining enlightenment without attachment" refers to progressively attaining Buddhahood from the ten bhumis, starting from generating the supreme bodhicitta to manifest complete enlightenment, and until not entering nirvana, gradually performing activities such as the twelve deeds, thereby obtaining the great treasure of unsurpassed enlightenment. "Without attachment" means that although the treasure has now been obtained, it is not clung to or craved like ordinary people, so it is called "attaining without attachment." "Those protectors, I, in all" means that a protector is the refuge and support of all sentient beings. The Buddhas, the Bhagavat, are the protectors of temporary and long-term benefit and happiness for sentient beings who are threatened by the suffering of birth, old age, sickness, death, etc., and who have no protector or refuge. "Urging to turn the unsurpassed wheel of Dharma" refers to the wheel of Dharma, which, like the rotation of a chariot wheel, and like plowing a field, the teaching of Dharma can also enable listeners to understand the true meaning. "Unsurpassed" means that there is nothing the same or higher. "Turning" refers to teaching the Dharma, making it clear to others. "Urging" means that it is necessary to urge the teaching of Dharma. Just as if seeing the Buddha in person, in order to hear for oneself and benefit others, one should respectfully request the teaching of Dharma with body, speech, and mind. If someone asks: The Buddhas know everything, see everything, do not cling to samsara, and have great compassion, why is it necessary to urge them? Answer: In order to respect the Dharma, be reverent to the Dharma, and rely on the Dharma, it is necessary to urge them. Therefore, it is necessary to urge. Now is the sixth common meaning, requesting not to enter nirvana: "According to whatever nirvana they wish to show, for the benefit and happiness of all sentient beings, I pray that they remain for as many eons as there are dust motes in the fields, I earnestly pray with folded palms." The meaning is that, in reality, all the Buddhas

Although not entering Nirvana, but because of showing entering Nirvana, for those who are tamed, showing like this is what is desired, so please request them to stay in the world. For whose sake do you pray? It is said that it is for the benefit and happiness of all sentient beings, that is, to do things for the benefit of all sentient beings, and to pray for them to stay in the world. What is the meaning? It means temporary benefit and long-term happiness, which is true Nirvana. Happiness is the increase of life, that is, the heavens and freedom are temporary happiness. From what merit do these two meanings arise? It is accomplished by seeing the Tathagata living in the world and hearing the Dharma spoken by him, so I pray for him not to enter Nirvana and live in the world. How long do you pray for such a stay in the world? It is said that in all the Buddha lands where the Buddhas live in the three worlds, I think of praying for them to stay in the world for as many kalpas as there are extremely small dust particles. Like this Everything, how do you pray? It means kneeling on both knees and putting your palms together in front of those Buddhas, and respectfully thinking of praying. The seventh general meaning, dedicating the roots of virtue: prostration, offering, and repentance, rejoicing, urging, and praying, whatever virtues I have accumulated, I dedicate everything to Bodhi. Thus, it means that to the above-mentioned Buddhas and Bodhisattvas and their many entourages, one makes prostrations with body, speech, and mind, and offers them with various offerings, repents of sins in front of them, rejoices in the merits of all saints and non-saints, thinks of urging them to turn the wheel of Dharma, and with the intention of praying for them not to enter Nirvana and stay in the world, all the virtues I have accumulated, I and all sentient beings do together, and dedicate them to the supreme and complete enlightenment, may this virtue lead me and all sentient beings to achieve supreme enlightenment. If you don't dedicate it, it will be exhausted after you get it. If you dedicate it to the Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas, it will be exhausted in the realm of Nirvana without residue.
