The body is soft, and having abandoned hatred for a long time, the mind stream is gentle and pleasing. Glory is what everyone should serve and be close to, and those who serve it will also increase the roots of virtue of heaven and liberation. His wish is that the noble Manjushri was once reborn as a king named Void, therefore he made this wish: As long as the edge of samsara is, I will do my best to benefit sentient beings, thus making great vows. Until the very end, benefit all sentient beings, and through various happy things, may they attain heaven and liberation. In all future kalpas, without weariness, may all his deeds be accomplished. It means that in all future kalpas, without feeling tired or thinking of anything else, may the deeds of all Buddhas and Bodhisattvas be perfected and accomplished. Now, the sixteenth general meaning is explained, which is the conclusion: Actions should not be limited. And so on, this is a verse. It summarizes the differences in behavior, qualities, and dwelling in immeasurable behavior. May actions be vast and boundless, and may the differences in qualities also be boundless. Dwelling in these immeasurable actions and qualities, may all the wonderful manifestations of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas be known. Now, in the Samantabhadra's conduct and vows, there are ten general meanings, here the ninth is explained, which is the end of the wish: How great is the ultimate edge of space, so is the edge of all sentient beings. How great is the edge of karma and afflictions, so is the edge of my wish. It means that the edge of space is untouchable and inconceivable. The realm of sentient beings is immeasurable. As it is said in the Sutra of the Compassion of the Tathagata, the Noble One: In a place as large as a spoke of a chariot wheel, there are sentient beings that have not appeared, but the Tathagata can see them, and they are more numerous than the gods and humans in the three thousand great thousand worlds. Like this, the sentient beings that have not appeared are immeasurable. Crowd

Since sentient beings possess karma and afflictions, therefore, however vast the extent of sentient beings, the causes of the cycle of virtuous and non-virtuous actions of sentient beings, as well as the causes of afflictions such as desire, all that is completely defiled is also that much. In order to weaken these unfavorable aspects with the antidote, the noble path, however vast the extent of karma and afflictions, may the extent of my aspiration to benefit sentient beings also be that much. Now, the tenth common meaning, the benefits of aspiration prayers, is explained, and there are two aspects to it: the benefits of this life and the benefits of future lives. There are four benefits in this life: completely accumulating excellent merit, seeing the Tathagata, obtaining equality with Bodhisattvas, and aspiring to completely purify karmic obscurations. Among these, the first aspect is to proclaim more, more vast, more diverse, more beneficial objects, and the field of merit that is particularly excellent, therefore, in order to accomplish enlightenment, for those who have faith and desire in aspiration prayers, completely accumulating the most excellent merit is: "Whatever the ten directions of the fields, boundless, adorned with jewels, offered to all the victorious ones, the supreme happiness of gods and humans, offered for as many kalpas as there are dust particles in the fields, whoever hears this king of dedication, generates great faith in the supreme enlightenment, even if only a single time, this will become the supreme of excellent merit." This is to say that the "ten directions of the fields" refers to the many. "Boundless" refers to the vast. "Adorned with jewels" refers to the diverse, that is, adorning the fields with various jewels. "The supreme happiness of gods and humans" refers to the beneficial objects, that is, the best of offerings and objects of enjoyment that exist in the realms of gods and humans. "Offered to the victorious ones" refers to the fields that are particularly excellent, that is, to the best of the fields of merit—the Buddha Bhagavan and his retinue—the fields adorned with boundless jewels in the ten directions, as well as the offerings of happiness of gods and humans, and the number of dust particles of all Buddha fields.

The merit offered in times of scarcity is not so great, and that merit is also tainted. If it is not dedicated to unsurpassed Bodhi, then after experiencing the results, it will be exhausted. The king of dedication is to dedicate all dedications to the supreme, unsurpassed, perfect, and complete Bodhi. Anyone who hears this and aspires to attain the supreme Bodhi, which is superior to the Bodhi of Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, the wisdom of all knowledge, and believes that they will become like the king of dedication, if they generate faith even once, then that person has truly entered the Great Vehicle, and their merit will become extremely supreme and will not be exhausted until they attain Bodhi. Second, abandoning evil destinies and unwholesome friends, seeing the Tathagata: Whoever makes the aspiration to practice good deeds, he will abandon all evil destinies, he will abandon evil friends, and he will also quickly see Amitabha Buddha. Among them, the so-called Immeasurable Light, in the Adornment Sutra of Sukhavati it says: Shariputra, the light of the Tathagata Amitabha is unobstructed in all Buddha lands, therefore he is called the Tathagata Amitabha. And so on, it is widely proclaimed in the Immeasurable Light Adornment Sutra. Third, obtaining praise, equal to the fortune of a Bodhisattva: They have obtained excellent gains, live in happiness, and they also come well in this life. The "they" here refers to anyone who makes the aspiration to practice good deeds. "Obtaining" refers to making aspirations.
