having bondage, and not being liberated from the suffering of suffering and the suffering of change, because they are impermanent and of the nature of cessation. Therefore, the aspects of suffering are encompassed by three aspects: the aspect of universal combination, the aspect of bondage, the aspect of impermanence, and the aspect of non-establishment and non-pleasure. What is the aspect of having no object of focus? Only the faculties, only the objects, only the feelings arising from them, and only consciousness appear, but from those there is no object of focus called self and what belongs to self, therefore all conditioned phenomena are empty and selfless. Therefore, it is the aspect of emptiness, encompassed by the aspect of having no object of focus. What is the aspect of having no independence? All conditioned phenomena that possess their own characteristics, the characteristic of impermanence, and the characteristic of suffering are without independence because they arise dependently. Those that are without independence are selfless. Therefore, the aspect of selflessness is encompassed by the aspect of having no independence. Therefore, the characteristics of the truth of suffering, those four establishments encompassed by ten aspects, should be individually understood. Among them, the characteristics of the truth of the origin are the four aspects: the aspect of cause, the aspect of origin, the aspect of arising, and the aspect of condition, which should be individually understood. Among them, the cause is existence, because it causes suffering to be drawn forth. The origin is what, having been drawn forth, makes it manifest and accomplished, and is the cause of the origin of suffering. Arising is the manifest accomplishment of suffering, which arises from that existence. The condition is craving, which completely holds the seed of future suffering and gradually makes suffering truly accomplished. Another way of saying it is that craving is what has become the cause of grasping, and the craving that arises from grasping and the cause of grasping is the cause of origin, and is the cause of the arising of birth that precedes existence, and by the condition of birth, old age, sickness, death, and sorrow, etc., are made manifest and accomplished, therefore it is the cause, the origin, and the

And birth, called condition, is in order. Other names, such as the latent tendencies of craving and the latent tendencies of afflictions, and whatever attachment to the body there is, that is the cause for the manifestation of existence in the future. The three kinds of pervasive bonds of existence that arise from that cause are accumulation, birth, and condition. That is, it is accumulation because it makes the craving for existence fully accomplished. Also, the craving for existence also causes the craving with correct desire to arise. The craving with joyful desire that arises is the condition for the craving that is manifestly joyful in that and that. Thus, relying on the aspect of the latent tendencies of craving and the three kinds of pervasive bonds of craving, the craving for existence will arise manifestly accomplished in the future. Therefore, it is said to be cause, accumulation, birth, and condition. Thus, the characteristic of the truth of the origin should be known individually by those four aspects. Among them, the characteristic of the truth of cessation should be known individually by the four aspects of cessation, peace, excellence, and liberation. Among them, cessation is because the truth of the origin is completely exhausted. Peace is because the truth of suffering is completely exhausted. Excellence is because it is supreme, chief, and unsurpassed. Liberation is because it is permanent through the unchanging aspect. Thus, the characteristic of the truth of cessation should be known individually by those four aspects. Among them, the characteristic of the truth of the path should be known individually by the four aspects of path, reason, practice, and emergence. Among them, path is the meaning of seeking what is to be known. Reason is the meaning of seeking what is correct. Practice is the meaning of following through the four doors. Emergence is the meaning of a single path because it goes to Nirvana. Thus, the characteristic of the truth of the path should be known individually by those four aspects. This is the establishment of the various distinctions of aspects. Among them, manifest.
