It should be understood that this is completely distinguished by itself. So, what are the three kinds of suffering? The suffering of suffering, the suffering of change, and the suffering of conditioning. The suffering of birth, the suffering of aging, the suffering of sickness, the suffering of death, and the suffering of encountering the unpleasant, these are called the first five. What is the suffering of change? The suffering of separation from the pleasant, and the suffering of not obtaining what is desired, these are called the middle two. What is the suffering of conditioning? In short, it is said that the five aggregates of clinging are suffering, this is the last one. Furthermore, in another classification, the suffering of suffering is shown by the first seven. For the suffering of change, the antidote to the six of those seven, that is, the white side, those six are: the antidote to aging is being without illness, the antidote to death is being alive, the antidote to encountering the unpleasant is the pleasant, the antidote to separation from the pleasant is not being separated from the unpleasant, the antidote to not obtaining what is desired is the fulfillment of what is desired, and the afflictions such as desire. The suffering of conditioning is as before. In short, the suffering of suffering and the suffering of change, as the aggregates that are the basis of what was previously shown, other than the aggregates, the other aggregates are neither suffering nor happiness, these are called the suffering of conditioning. It should be understood that these three kinds of suffering are also the complete distinctions of the pervasive afflictions of birth. As previously stated, the complete distinctions of the suchness nature of suffering, in short, there are eight kinds: very coarse and subtle, very coarse and neither subtle nor not subtle, intermediate not subtle, subtle and not subtle, very subtle and not subtle, very very subtle and not subtle, not suffering but appearing as suffering and subtle, very close to coarse. Among these, the first refers to the suffering of those who act in the desire realm and have not accumulated roots of virtue. The second refers to the suffering of those who act in the desire realm and generate roots of virtue that are in accordance with the division of liberation.

What is the suffering? The third is, what is the suffering of those who practice in the desire realm and accumulate virtuous roots in order to be separated from desire itself by the worldly path? The fourth is, what is the suffering of those who are born in the form realm and have completely abandoned what is in accordance with the part of liberation? The fifth is, what is the suffering of those who are born in the formless realm and have completely abandoned what is in accordance with the part of liberation? What is the suffering of the sixth, the four students who see? The seventh is, what is the cessation and form experienced by the remaining non-learners due to the cause of the life force? The eighth is, what is the suffering of the Bodhisattvas who have attained the Paramitas and consciously take rebirth in Samsara for the benefit of sentient beings? This is a detailed classification of the nature of the truth of suffering. The nature of the origin of suffering is the pervasive afflictions of afflictions and the pervasive afflictions of karma, and those held by craving. Among them, what is the pervasive affliction of afflictions? What is the pervasive affliction of karma? What is craving? The pervasive affliction of afflictions refers to afflictions and near afflictions. The detailed classification of them is determined in nine ways: nature, detailed classification, cause, state, door, size, inversion, name, and fault. Among them, what is nature? When any dharma arises, it arises with the characteristic that its nature is not completely tranquil, and because of its arising, the continuum of the formation aggregate is also not completely tranquil, but only tends towards tranquility. What is the detailed classification? It is a detailed classification of the characteristics of the six afflictions and many near afflictions. What is the cause? There are six types, namely dependence, object, noise, telling, habituation, and attention, from which afflictions arise. What is the state? There are seven types, namely the state of dormancy, pervasive entanglement, pervasive calculation, co-emergence, small, medium, and large. What is the door? There are two types, namely the door of pervasive entanglement and dormancy.
