That which, while abiding in this very life, will manifest and perfectly awaken to unsurpassed, complete, and perfect enlightenment. Thus, what to learn, how to learn, and what to learn, all of these combined are called the conduct of a Bodhisattva. Because it is the object of learning itself, it shows the practice. That which is called the object of enlightenment shows the ultimate. The object of unsurpassed, complete, and perfect enlightenment is to be understood by five aspects: namely, nature, power, means, entry, and reversal. The distinctions of these have already been explained earlier in the context of the perfection of the fruit. Because it is the nature of the Dharmakaya, which is the true establishment of the transformed state, it shows the ultimate. Why are these four—listening, taking refuge, learning, and the object of enlightenment—made into one collection? Because that alone encompasses everything. Because listening allows individual understanding, taking refuge is a commitment, learning is what is learned, and the order of showing the ultimate of enlightenment encompasses everything from the object of this Dharma, from the generation of the mind of enlightenment to the final attainment of the supreme fruit. After that, in the phrase "What are the nine objects?", the object designated as sentient beings refers to the aggregates. There are five aggregates: the aggregate of form, the aggregate of feeling, the aggregate of perception, the aggregate of mental formations, and the aggregate of consciousness. The establishment of these is shown by six aspects: namely, nature, meaning, distinction, order, summary, and support. Among these, what is the establishment of the nature of the aggregates? The establishment of the nature of the aggregate of form has eleven aspects: the ten sense bases from the eye and so on up to the limit of touch, and the form belonging to the sense base of phenomena. In short, it is the four great elements and what is made by the four great elements as their cause. Everything is also the nature of being able to be form. What is the establishment of the nature of the aggregate of feeling?

Feeling is of six kinds, namely, that which arises from the contact of the aggregation of eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind. In short, there are three kinds of feeling: pleasure, pain, and neither pleasure nor pain. Again, there are two kinds: bodily and mental. That which depends on form is bodily. That which depends on the formless is mental, and it is the characteristic of all and feeling. What is the detailed explanation of the nature of the aggregate of perception? It is also of six kinds, namely, the perception that arises from the contact of the aggregation of eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind. These are also of six kinds: small, large, immeasurable, nothing at all, with signs, and without signs. Among these, the small is that which is practiced in the desire realm. The large is that which is practiced in the form realm. The immeasurable is that which is practiced in the formless realm of space and the realm of infinite consciousness. That which is practiced in the realm of nothing at all. All of these are with signs. The signless are the peak of existence and the supramundane learners and non-learners. These, in short, are of two kinds: mundane and supramundane. All of these are the characteristic of complete understanding. What is the detailed explanation of the characteristic of the aggregate of formations? It is also of six kinds, namely, the thought that arises from the contact of the aggregation of eye, ear, nose, tongue, body, and mind. This is also the characteristic of being in harmony with the object and encountering it. What is the detailed explanation of the nature of the aggregate of consciousness? That is of eight kinds: the alaya consciousness, the afflicted mind, and the six entering consciousnesses. In short, there are three kinds of divisions: the division of feeling, the division of taking the object as a sign, and the division of state. Among these, the division of feeling is of three kinds: pleasure, pain, and neither pleasure nor pain. The division of taking the object as a sign is of six kinds: small

Small and large, becoming large, immeasurable, non-existent, with characteristics and without characteristics. There are also three types of states: virtuous, non-virtuous, and unspecified. If these distinctions are combined into one, they become eighteen types, all of which are characterized by the object of discernment, which is the establishment of the nature of the aggregates. So, what is the establishment of the meaning of the aggregates? There are two types: definitive words and necessity. Among them, the definitive word is: Why is it called an aggregate? This is to explain the meaning of the aggregate, that is, time and cause, liberation and the different places of form, etc., are briefly summarized, and the meaning of the summary is the meaning of the aggregate. Among them, whatever is form, whether it is past, future, or present, internal or external, coarse or subtle, inferior or excellent, near or far, and so on up to feeling, perception, formation, and consciousness. Among them, past, future, and present indicate the difference in time. Internal and external indicate the difference in continuity. Coarse and subtle indicate the difference in form. Inferior and excellent indicate the difference in realm. Near and far indicate the difference in place. Combining these into one is because all forms are combined, so the meaning of combining or gathering is the meaning of the aggregate. So, why is the establishment of the aggregates fully explained? This is to explain the necessity of establishing the aggregates. These aggregates are many diverse selves, so they are merely fabrications. In order to fully show that there is no self with other meanings from them, the establishment of the aggregates should be understood, which is the establishment of the meaning of the aggregates. So, what is the establishment of the detailed classification of the aggregates? The detailed classification of the form aggregate has six types: object, characteristic, the place where consciousness dwells, the non-place where consciousness dwells, consciousness
