Eating and drinking, etc., the realms, beings, and birthplaces are different, and the ways of being born are different. Such things as these reside in various kinds of sentient beings. This shows that the dharma of the proponent, that is, the meaning of the knowledge of the different characteristics of the result, the object of direct perception, and the meaning of direct perception are encompassed by their own characteristics. What is meant by direct perception is that the dharma of the proponent, the meaning of the knowledge of the different characteristics of the result, the object of direct perception, and the nature of the direct perception of the meaning of direct perception encompassed by its own characteristics, are free from conceptualization and non-erroneous, so it is the object of direct perception. Thus, the dharma of the proponent, residing in the various characteristics of the result, is the object of direct perception. Through it, the dharma to be established, that is, the existence of the other world and the previous life, should be inferred. So, how is the third way of the characteristic applied here? The word "existence" in what should be inferred is expressed by the word "sentient beings", and what is meant by what should be inferred is in the dharma sentient beings. What is meant by existence is that in the dharma sentient beings, the dharma to be established, that is, the existence of the other world and the previous life, in the dharma of the proponent, that is, in the different characteristics of the result, there is direct perception. Therefore, it is called dharma. Here, in the dharma, the dharma to be established, non-things and impermanence, and moments, etc., the dharma of the proponent, non-perception and the characteristic of self-nature do not exist. Therefore, in the dharma sentient beings that should be inferred, the dharma of the proponent, the direct perception residing in the different characteristics of the result, for it, the dharma to be established, that is, the existence of the other world and the previous life, the non-perception of direct perception, is inferred to be existence. Thus, in the dharma sentient beings, the dharma to be established, that is, the existence of the other world and the previous life, the dharma of the proponent, the direct perception residing in the different characteristics of the result exists, that is

Because it is related by the nature of being born from what is to be done and what does it, it is called the reason of the effect. The way of having only the common side is an example of similar dharma, that which is manifestly perceived to abide in various actions, that is where the other world exists. For example, for all internal and external formations, the appearance of suffering such as birth, which is known to all the world, is like a close combination. In that case, the characteristics of the happiness of one's own kind are shown below when showing the characteristics of close combination. The way of not having in the dissimilar side is an example of dissimilar dharma. That is also shown directly from the scriptures and other valid cognitions. Here, because the example of similar dharma shows what is easy to understand, the opposite of the example of dissimilar dharma is accomplished incidentally, so the Bhagavan did not directly show it. If you want to know, that which is not manifestly perceived to abide in various actions, that is where the other world does not exist. For example, it can be said like a rabbit's horn. In this way, the sign of the fruit with three aspects is also free from the three faults of reason, namely unproven, contradictory, and uncertain. Combine them appropriately as before. Whatever is manifestly perceived to be in the state of sentient beings being happy and suffering, and abiding in virtuous and non-virtuous actions, is called this sign, and from this it can be inferred that virtuous and non-virtuous actions will not be wasted, which is called the dharma to be established. Sentient beings are happy and suffering, and whatever is manifestly perceived to be abiding in virtuous and non-virtuous actions is called sentient beings being happy and suffering, which is the difference between happiness and suffering, etc. That is the subject of the dharma to be inferred. Abiding in virtuous and non-virtuous actions means that the fruit arising from the cause of virtuous and non-virtuous actions of previous lives abides in happiness and suffering. Therefore, it is the dharma of the side that can be established, the meaning of the knowledge of each sign of the fruit, the object of direct perception, the meaning of direct perception is included in its own nature. Whatever is manifestly perceived is called the dharma that can be established.
