May it be transformed! In the end, it will become like a rhinoceros horn. There are eight ways to attain the Great Vehicle: attaining the generation of the mind of enlightenment, attaining compassion, attaining the perfections, attaining the objects of gathering, attaining the grounds, attaining the comprehension of suchness from the five immeasurables, attaining inconceivable power, and attaining the unshared dharmas of the Buddhas. The explanation of this, in brief, can be summarized in three aspects: summarizing the collections of scriptures, summarizing the matrices, and summarizing both of these. Among these, summarizing the collections of scriptures includes the collections of scriptures of the Hearers and the collections of scriptures of the Great Vehicle. Summarizing the matrices includes the seventeen grounds of the Yogācāras and their four summaries. The seventeen grounds of the Yogācāras are: the ground associated with the five aggregates of consciousness, the ground of mind, the ground with conception and analysis, the ground without conception but with analysis only, the ground without conception and without analysis, the ground of meditative stabilization, the ground of non-meditative stabilization, the ground with mind, the ground without mind, the ground arising from hearing, the ground arising from thinking, the ground arising from meditation, the ground of Hearers, the ground of Solitary Buddhas, the ground of Bodhisattvas, the ground with aggregates, and the ground without aggregates. Their four summaries are: the summary of the determination of the ground of the Yogācāras, the summary of the basis, the summary of terms, and the summary of explanations. Summarizing both of these, in brief, there are ten ways: explaining the characteristics of truth, explaining complete knowledge, explaining abandonment, explaining manifestation, explaining cultivation, and explaining the divisions of these themselves,
