Because you are not, it exists like an illusion in the conventional truth, therefore it is also without self-nature by its very nature of being born without self-nature, and because it is not a completely pure object, it has ultimate selflessness, so it is not the ultimate truth, ultimate selflessness itself is also selflessness, the nature of the perfectly established is the ultimate, and the ultimate is distinguished by the selflessness of all dharmas, and it is also the ultimate truth, because it is also selflessness itself, so it is selfless by the very nature of ultimate selflessness, therefore, the Blessed One said that all dharmas are selfless, not without intention, this is a summary word. This is to counteract the waste caused by misunderstanding without intention, and shows the intention in a euphemistic way of selflessness itself. After that, the meaning of the words shown to counteract the waste caused by misunderstanding without meaning will be explained. The so-called waste caused by misunderstanding without meaning refers to the meaningless misunderstanding because the meaning of non-addition and non-defamation is completely abandoned. What is that like? The Blessed One said that all dharmas are selfless, which has the meaning of non-addition and non-defamation, because the nature of the completely conceptualized, the nature of selflessness is like a flower in the sky, which does not exist at all in the two truths, so it has the meaning of non-addition. The nature of other dependence, the birth of selflessness, and the ultimate selflessness are like magic tricks, which only exist in the conventional truth. The nature of the perfectly established, the ultimate selflessness itself is selfless like the sky, which only exists in the ultimate truth. Therefore, these two have the meaning of non-defamation, so it is meaningful. If so, they will not understand, and think that they do not have the meaning of non-addition and non-defamation, thus producing meaningless misunderstandings, which will also lead to extreme decline and waste.

Therefore, in order to counteract it, for the sake of the truly noble one, it is said, 'like a flower in the sky,' and so on. Here, the meaning is that the Blessed One said that all phenomena are without inherent existence, but this is not a denial of all characteristics. Because the characteristics of the completely imputed are like a flower in the sky, completely non-existent in both truths, therefore the characteristic of non-inherent existence is non-inherent existence itself. This has the meaning of non-superimposition. And the characteristics of other-powered are like an illusion, in the conventional truth, the arising of non-inherent existence, and from the ultimate non-inherent existence, the other exists as the way of ultimate non-inherent existence. The characteristics of the thoroughly established are like the sky, in the ultimate truth, from the ultimate non-inherent existence, through the absence of self of phenomena, completely distinguished and completely abandoned. It exists as the way of being both ultimate and non-inherent existence, therefore these two are said to have the meaning of non-negation, so it is not a meaningless concluding remark. The truly noble one, I, having understood from these three kinds of non-inherent existence, therefore showed that all phenomena are without inherent existence. This is the antidote to the wrong conceptions of having no place, no intention, and no meaning, and is the conclusion of all three antidotes previously shown. The chapter division is summarized in the last. This is to show the implicit meaning of non-inherent existence as an antidote to the waste caused by wrong conceptions of having no real meaning. After that, the meaning of the words, etc., that show the antidote to the waste caused by wrong conceptions of non-dependence will be explained. The waste caused by wrong conceptions of non-dependence is like saying that whatever does not exist in its own characteristic is unborn, etc. Because the former depends on the latter, it is a wrong conception of non-dependence. And what is that like? The Blessed One said that all phenomena are unborn, unceasing, peaceful from the beginning, and naturally completely liberated from suffering, this is from the very nature of the non-inherent existence of characteristics.
