It is taught by the name "Completely Knowing Therein." It teaches the collection of the objects of the three characteristics of the Dharma, which have the necessity of prior realization and are complete, as previously taught. Since those paths are to be known through meditation, it is called completely knowing the aspects of meditation. After that, its fruit is inaction, which is to say that after completely knowing the Dharma without characteristics as it is, completely abandoning the Dharma of the nature of all afflictions, and having completely abandoned the Dharma of the nature of all afflictions, one becomes one who obtains the Dharma of the nature of complete purification. It teaches the collection of the objects of the three characteristics of the Dharma, which have the necessity of prior benefit and are complete, as previously taught. Those are merely explanations of the results of having already done the aspects of meditation, and are not the accomplishment of the initial action, so it is called its fruit is inaction. Just by that, the Bodhisattva is skilled in the characteristics of the Dharmas, which is called completely knowing through the aspect of listening, and just by that, it is taught as being skilled. It is the answer to the question asked by the noble Source of Qualities at the time of the previous inquiry: "By what measure is a Bodhisattva skilled in the characteristics of the Dharmas?" Even if the Tathagata Bodhisattva is established as skilled in the characteristics of the Dharmas, it is established only by that, which is called completely knowing through the aspect of meditation, and its fruit is inaction, and just by that, it is taught as being established as skilled. It is the answer to the question asked by the noble Source of Qualities at the time of the previous inquiry: "Even if the Tathagata Bodhisattva is established as skilled in the characteristics of the Dharmas, by what measure is it established?" The first verse teaches the collection of the objects of the necessity of benefit itself. The second verse teaches the faults of not accomplishing it in that way, which is explained as being extensively taught by the collection of the objects of those. The meaning of the words of the sixth chapter and so on has been explained. Thus, after teaching that the nature of the conventional truth of the characteristics of the Dharmas should be completely known, now it is the very nature of the Dharmas.

In order to fully understand the characteristics of conventional truth through the characteristic of non-self-existence, the meaning of the words spoken will be explained. Therefore, in order to show this, from that time on, the Bodhisattva Arya True and Righteous Victory reported to the Blessed One in this way, and so on, the seventh chapter of Arya True and Righteous Victory was spoken. Among them, the general meaning of the seventh chapter, in short, is to show the characteristics of the non-self-existence of all dharmas. If classified, there are two types: questioning and extensive explanation. Among them, the questioning starts from "Blessed One, when I was alone in a secluded place, such thoughts arose in my mind," and ends with "Blessed One, I ask you about the meaning of what you said." The extensive explanation starts from "As reported" and continues to "The Blessed One taught the Bodhisattva Arya True and Righteous Victory in this way," etc., all the remaining content of this chapter. Among them, first, the meaning of the words of questioning, etc., will be explained. The so-called questioning is to counteract the extreme ignorance of the non-self-existence of all dharmas, and to skillfully show the characteristics, arising, and ultimate non-self-existence. Therefore, first, Arya True and Righteous Victory asks the Blessed One. Among them, in this chapter of questioning, Arya True and Righteous Victory thought: The Blessed One, from the glorious mouth of complete realization of Suchness, with the wisdom of the four distinct perfect knowledges, also taught the names, characteristics, definitive words, and detailed classifications of all dharmas. Moreover, in order to counteract the extreme ignorance of the non-self-existence of all dharmas, he also taught that all dharmas are non-self-existent. However, if the three types of non-self-existence are not shown, others will misunderstand the hidden meaning of non-self-existence itself. In order to show the countermeasure against the misunderstanding of the meaning, therefore, the Blessed One explained the aggregates and so on in various names.
