I am speaking with the authority of the simultaneous arising of dependent origination, which arises from the mind, as well as the senses, objects, and consciousness, and which is the equality of cause and effect. The statement "This arises, therefore that arises" refers to the dependent origination of seeds and sprouts, etc., which occur in sequence, with the cause preceding and the effect following, and is spoken with the authority of these. Thus, the characteristic of other-dependence is that the very nature of internal and external phenomena arises dependently on other conditions. If this is understood, then one will not be extremely ignorant of the meaning of existence, nor will one slander. Therefore, in order to counteract the cause of slandering due to extreme ignorance of the meaning of existence, it is necessary to show the characteristic of other-dependence. Next, I will explain the meaning of the words that show the nature of the Dharma, which is necessary to counteract the cause of the destruction of extreme ignorance of complete affliction. Among these, the so-called complete affliction refers to the nature of other-dependence, which is possessed of the afflictions included in dependent origination, as well as the complete affliction of karma and birth. The so-called extreme ignorance is the clinging to existence as non-existence. Among these, the so-called cause of the destruction of the world, the word "that" refers to the complete affliction itself. "Destruction" means annihilation, that is, slander. "Cause" means that extreme ignorance of complete affliction is the cause of the destruction of complete affliction, because clinging to existence as non-existence, extreme ignorance will destroy the meaning of existence. The so-called showing the nature of the Dharma, which has the necessity of counteracting it, means that it has the meaning of dispelling the cause of destruction, and the nature of the Dharma of other-dependence, which is in accordance with the side of complete affliction, is shown to exist as conventional truth, like a magic trick. Therefore, in order to show it, it is said, "Thus, with ignorance as a condition, there are formations," and so on. In this way, the suffering of

It is said, "Whatever is in between 'only the great body will arise'." They explain the afflictions encompassed by the arising of dependent origination. Therefore, even the nature of other-powered that accords with the side of complete affliction is the dependent origination of the nature of things by other-power. If one understands it in this way, one will be very ignorant of complete affliction and will not destroy it. Therefore, this is also very ignorant of complete affliction. This is to explain the nature of other-powered that possesses the necessity of the antidote to the cause of destruction. After that, we will explain the meaning of the words, etc., that explain the nature of the Dharma that possesses the necessity of the antidote to the cause of destruction, which is very ignorant of complete purification. Among them, complete purification refers to the nature of perfect accomplishment. It is correct knowledge and suchness distinguished by transformation of the basis and the suchness of things, therefore it is called complete purification. Among them, being very ignorant refers to clinging to what exists as non-existent. Among them, for "the cause of destruction," the word "that" refers to complete purification itself. "Destruction" means wasting life, that is, slandering it. "Cause" means that being very ignorant of complete purification in this way is the cause of destroying complete purification, because clinging to what exists as non-existent and being very ignorant wastes the meaning of existence. The so-called "explaining the nature of the Dharma that possesses the necessity of its antidote" means that in order to completely eliminate that cause of destruction in this way, the nature of the Dharma of perfect accomplishment, which possesses the meaning of antidote, is like the sky, and it is explaining that the ultimate truth exists. Therefore, in order to explain it, (the text says) what is the nature of perfect accomplishment of the source of qualities, all phenomena? It is the suchness of all phenomena. Bodhisattvas realize it through the cause of diligence and the cause of excellent proper attention, and by perfecting the habituation of that realization, they also perfectly accomplish unsurpassed complete enlightenment.
