Because it is a manifestation, there is no fault. That is the perfect aspect. Having shown the perfect aspect in this way, how do those who possess the perfect aspect abide, being shown with what kind of enjoyment? Therefore, in order to show the perfect aspect of enjoyment, it is shown with the enjoyment of the joy and great bliss of the taste of Dharma, and it should be connected by saying that they abide there. The reason for being called "shower" is that food is the cause of abiding. The joy and great bliss of the taste of Dharma also cause those to abide, so that is the shower of those. Then, it was previously shown that that place is the realm of activity that has completely transcended the three realms. How can there be food there? If you say that it is the food of those undefiled Dharmas. That is also not right. Food nourishes existence, but that cuts off existence, so it cannot be said that those abide by food. That is like, for example, when the noble ones enter into undefiled samadhi in the realm of form, etc., that makes the bodies of those abide, just as the undefiled Dharma is like the food of those, it is a shower, so there is no contradiction. If you say that when the noble ones enter into undefiled samadhi in places such as form, etc., they do not abide by that undefiled samadhi, but rather the food that shows whatever food in the past abides now, so that example is not right. It cannot be said that those possess past food, because the past does not exist. Similarly, here too, if those there are not shown by the undefiled The joy and great bliss of the taste of Dharma, but are shown and abide by other food from the past, then it will become the fault of being shown and abiding by what does not exist. Therefore, those are not shown and abide by past food, but are shown by the joy and great bliss of the taste of Dharma, which is the perfect aspect of enjoyment. Having shown the perfect aspect of enjoyment in this way, what is the activity of those who possess the perfect aspect of enjoyment? Therefore, in order to show the perfect aspect of accomplishing activities, for sentient beings

It is said to be "abiding near to accomplishing all purposes completely," which means abiding near to accomplishing all the deeds of all sentient beings completely, hence it is called "abiding near." The term "all purposes" refers to the meaning of benefit and happiness. It means benefit in this life and happiness in the next. Alternatively, worldly purpose is benefit, and transcendental purpose is happiness. If one asks, "If that state is characterized by immovability and has no manifest activity, how does it accomplish all the purposes of sentient beings completely?" The answer is: "It should be regarded as similar to how noble ones, even when absorbed in peaceful samadhi, continuously perform the deeds of sentient beings due to the power of past manifest activities. This is the perfection of accomplishing activities." Having thus explained the perfection of accomplishing activities, since the perfection of accomplishing activities also requires being without harm, therefore, in order to explain the perfection of being without harm, it is said, "Free from all harm of the defilements of afflictions," which shows the absence of harm arising from one's own inner continuum. Among these, "afflictions" refers to desire and so forth. "Defilement" refers to those afflictions themselves being defilements. "Harm" refers to the harm arising from the defilements of afflictions, which is various sufferings. Those defilements of afflictions are the cause of harm, and because they are absent, the harm arising from them is also absent. If one asks, "How is this the perfection of being without harm?" The answer is: "Whatever is without the harm caused by the defilements of afflictions is also without harm. For example, even if the master does not bestow benefit, one says, 'My lord has not harmed me,' because he has not tormented me.' This is the perfection of being without harm." Having thus explained the perfection of being without harm, since the perfection of being without harm, due to the absence of inner harm, also lacks the cause of outer harm, therefore, in order to explain the perfection of having no external adversaries, it is said, "Having completely abandoned all demons," which shows the absence of external harm. Among these, "all demons" refers to the aggregates.
