. What exists between reality, the only truth, infallibility, and non-perversion is the brief definition of dependent origination. Therefore, the existence of phenomena in conventional truth that arise dependently is called the "law of Dharma." "Knowing" means that, regarding the existence of phenomena that arise dependently, unlike other non-Buddhists who believe that they arise from no cause or from a cause that is inconsistent with the cause, one truly knows the five characteristics of dependent origination in conventional truth, namely, the characteristic of arising from a cause with a cause, the characteristic of arising from many impermanent causes, the characteristic of arising from a powerful condition, and the characteristic of arising from a condition without action, and the wisdom that individually distinguishes these characteristics. "Relying and abiding" means relying and abiding on the discriminating wisdom that knows the law of Dharma in this way. Thus, relying and abiding on knowing the law of Dharma, being skilled in the secrets of mind, intellect, and consciousness means being skilled in their nature, place, object, companion, function, and existence, being skilled in entering the object, entering through corresponding connections, entering through one cause being one, and establishing entering through common things, therefore, being skilled in the antidote to extreme ignorance of the distinctions of conventional truth. This can be understood in this way. Therefore, the noble Wide Intellect previously asked: To what extent does a Bodhisattva need to be skilled to be considered skilled in the secrets of mind, intellect, and consciousness? This is the answer to that, namely, these are the explanations of being skilled in the secrets of the field of activity of knowing the law of Dharma. However, the Tathagata believes that if a Bodhisattva is only skilled in the secrets of mind, intellect, and consciousness, he cannot be called everything in everything. That is to say, although he is skilled in the secrets of the field of activity of knowing the law of Dharma, he is also skilled in the establishment of entering, but

Since one is not skilled in establishing negation, one is not called a wise person merely for being skilled in that, but one is called a wise person for being skilled in establishing negation, which is a foreshadowing of what will be said below. Regarding this, the meaning of the words that show the antidote to extreme ignorance of the distinction of conventional truth will be explained. The so-called antidote to extreme ignorance of the distinction of ultimate truth refers to the perfect nature, which is included in the transformation of the basis consciousness by establishing the reversal of all defilements, which is the distinction of ultimate truth. To counteract not understanding this, the secret of the realm of non-conceptual wisdom, which is shown by the power of non-conceptual wisdom in the manner of not focusing on mind, intellect, and consciousness, is called showing the antidote to extreme ignorance of this. Therefore, with the premise of showing this, it is said, "Because of what vast wisdom, Bodhisattvas do not see the internal individual taking and abandoning," and so on. Among them, what is the establishment of the reversal of all defilements? The basis consciousness is the root of all defilements, therefore it should be known that it is reversed by cultivating virtuous Dharma. How is it the root of all defilements? Because it forms the sentient world, forms the container world, and is the nature of the present truth of suffering, forms the future truth of suffering, and forms the present truth of origin, it is the root of all defilements. Thus, it should be known that the basis consciousness, which is the root of all defilements, is reversed by cultivating virtuous Dharma. And the cultivation of virtuous Dharma should also be known as the places of entering, realization, familiarization, and attention. Among them, so-called entering refers to entering the direct realization of the truth from the stage of an ordinary being in order to realize the basis consciousness. That is, seeing the truth, because one has not obtained the eye for the truths, therefore all the seeds of the basis consciousness...
