The so-called "self-nature object of focus" refers to the various lineages in which one abides, such as the Hearer lineage, the Solitary Buddha lineage, and the Thus-Gone One lineage, as well as the various realms of sentient beings' eighty thousand behaviors, distinguished in detail by means of desire and so on. One meditates on these in the same way as before. The so-called "multiple realms object of focus" refers to the fact that, among those various realms, if one briefly summarizes the realms that are distinguished in detail, there are four types, such as the realm that abides in its own nature, the realm that arises from previous habituation, the realm that can be purified, and the realm that cannot be purified. Furthermore, for each of those realms, there are also limitless detailed distinctions, which are called "multiple third realms." The meditation on this is also combined in the same way as before. The so-called "antidote and opposing factors of mindfulness object of focus" refers to meditating on the teachings of mindfulness, such as seeing the body as impure and without inherent existence, as antidotes to the opposing factors, such as seeing the body as pure and substantial. The so-called "seeing of mindfulness" has two types of cultivation: cultivation of attainment and cultivation of reliance. Among these, cultivation of attainment is the arising of what has not yet arisen. Cultivation of reliance is the abiding of what has already arisen, and so on. For the remaining parts, such as the right abandonments, one should also combine them accordingly. After seeing, thinking, 'I should do this,' and so on, is because, for all of the ultimate truth, one has the nature of being of one taste, and without having realized it, one thinks that one has realized it, and one communicates one's knowledge to others. This is merely possessing the three types of manifest pride, which is shown through the object of focus. Blessed One! For what reason did the Blessed One say 'thus' and so on? This also shows through the object of focus that for all of the ultimate truth, one has the nature of being of one taste, and although those with manifest pride are already controlled by manifest pride, some sentient beings communicate knowledge, and also infer more situations through the path of what they have manifestly seen themselves. This also shows the conclusion, which is the establishment of the nature of manifest pride. After that, it is the antidote to manifest pride.
