It is not a state of becoming a substance. Here, with regard to the object to which speech is applied, in order to explain the existence of imputed phenomena such as conditioned and unconditioned phenomena, it reveals their emptiness. If it is thought that things that exist as substances, such as Suchness, also exist only in consciousness, then there is no harm. Therefore, it is said in the sutra that concepts of conditioned and unconditioned phenomena, and concepts of the names of conditioned and unconditioned phenomena, arise for what. Suchness does not generate concepts, and even if it does, it arises on its characteristics, and that is only consciousness. Therefore, it is said in the sutra that it arises from discrimination. The characteristic of action is what is additionally imputed to things, such as form, sound, smell, taste, touch, male, female, birth, old age, sickness, death, etc., and that is the characteristic of mere consciousness. The characteristic of Suchness is only the characteristic of concepts, because it is a conditioned phenomenon. To say that something like an illusion exists means that it does not exist in external objects, but only in consciousness. To say that it exists to confuse wisdom means that it is not the true nature of complete imputation. These explain non-attachment to the self-nature of complete imputation. Seeing and hearing as they are, etc., explain non-erroneous attachment to the self-nature of other-dependence. In this way, the subsequent application of names in order to discern the meaning refers to worldly knowledge and views. In order to realize the inexpressible Dharma nature mentioned below, names such as conditioned and unconditioned phenomena are applied. This is consistent with what is said in the sutra. It is said in the sutra that those do not need to be further observed later, which shows that the self-nature of perfect accomplishment has been established. Son of good family, if that is the case, etc., is

The conclusion of that is explained. Like that, by knowing and seeing the objects with the nature of other-dependence, which is free from the nature of complete imputation, what is realized is seeing the nature of perfect accomplishment. Therefore, that is the suchness of all dharmas, the ultimate truth, the nature of no self of phenomena, it is the nature of non-duality, therefore it is also the nature of unspeakable. That is the establishment of the example of definitive determination. After that, the meaning of the words of the arrangement of summarizing those objects, etc., will be explained. The so-called arrangement of summarizing those objects is the meaning of the words previously explained, which has the nature of ultimate truth, unspeakable, and the nature of non-duality, What is the arrangement of the nature of summarizing those objects in verses. Therefore, in order to explain it, from then on, the Bodhisattva's contemplation of the profound meaning, according to the Explanation of the Profound Secrets Sutra, at that time, these verses were spoken, etc., and two verses were spoken. Among the two verses, the first two root verses of the first verse explain the aspect of purification. The following two root verses explain the aspect of all-pervasive defilement. The second verse explains the faults of those who abide in the aspect of all-pervasive defilement. Among them, the first two root verses of the first verse are: The profound is not the realm of children, The unspeakable, non-dual, is taught by the Victorious One. What is said is that it is not the realm of the profound ultimate truth, it has the nature of unspeakable, it has the nature of non-duality, the Victorious One has the ten powers, has the supreme great compassion, through the way of teaching, it explains the summary of the objects of the two natures, and also explains the aspect of purification of those two. The first two root verses are: These children are deluded by ignorance, They delight in verbal elaboration and abide in duality. What is said is that these children who are deluded by ignorance, because they do not know that they have the nature of ultimate truth and unspeakable, they like the elaboration of speech, because they do not know that they have the nature of non-duality, they abide in duality.
