It should be understood that all those things that are said, such as, are all like that. Furthermore, for the first ground, the Bodhisattva who is without near fear, hatred, hesitation, and bristling hair, because of the great compassion that goes before, does not lose the superior intention and is not inferior, and diligently strives to gather all the roots of virtue as they are. As it is taught, up to the Buddha ground, it is even more extremely pure. What is called the purification of the pāramitās is the nature of the six pāramitās of the Buddhas and Bodhisattvas, everything, difficulty, the door of everything, the noble person, all kinds, poverty and desire, the happiness of this and other lives, and distinguished by purity, having truly taken the nature from oneself, from all giving up to all wisdom, constantly practicing and making it extremely pure, as soon as it is completed, the unsurpassed perfect enlightenment is completely accomplished, as well as the fruit of the vajra essence body and the long duration of the holy Dharma, and because of constantly practicing difficult giving and so on, the Tathāgata attains the fruit of having incomparable and wonderful Dharma, and because of constantly practicing giving and so on from all doors, the Tathāgata attains the fruit of becoming the chief of all beings, worshiped by gods and humans, and because of constantly practicing the giving of the noble person and so on, the Tathāgata attains the fruit of becoming the most excellent of all beings. Furthermore, because of constantly practicing all kinds of giving and so on, the Tathāgata's body with the thirty-two major marks and eighty minor marks of a great person is the fruit of being completely gathered by immeasurable merit. Furthermore, because of constantly practicing giving and so on to the poor and those who desire, when the Tathāgata dwells at the Bodhi tree, he can be subdued by all the demons and heretics, and

The attainment of the unwavering fruit, and through the universal reliance on generosity and the like, which bring happiness in this life and the next, the manifestation of the supreme fruit of the Tathagata's qualities and liberation, as well as the bliss of samadhi and meditative absorption, and through perfectly pure generosity and the like, the manifestation of the fruit of the fourfold purity of the Tathagata's complete purification of all aspects, namely the purity of body, object, mind, and wisdom. Among these, the first ground is predominantly characterized by the perfection of generosity, but it is not that the others are not practiced as much as possible. As the teachings show, it becomes increasingly pure up to the level of Buddhahood. "Seeing the Buddha and attending to him with reverence is called purity," which means that the offerings of Buddhas and Bodhisattvas to the Three Jewels are pure. Among these, there are ten types of offerings to the Tathagata: offering to the body, offering to the stupa, offering in presence, offering in absence, offering made by oneself, offering caused to be made by others, gain, respectful offering, vast offering, non-afflicted offering, and practice offering. Among these, offering to the body means making offerings to the very form body of the Tathagata. Offering to the stupa means making offerings to the Tathagata's stupa or reliquary, temple, meditation chamber, old stupa, or new stupa. Offering in presence means making offerings to the body or stupa of the Tathagata in presence. Offering in absence means making offerings to the three bodies of the Tathagata or the stupa that is not in presence, with them as the object. There is also a common offering of presence and absence. That is, when making offerings in presence to the body or stupa of the Tathagata, with such an enhanced intention, whatever is the nature of one Tathagata and one stupa, that is all the Tathagatas and all the stupas of the ten directions and three times.

Because this is for that reason, I make offerings to the Tathagata and the manifested stupa, with the mind of offering to the Tathagatas of the ten directions and three times and all other beings. Among them, offering in person is vast in the fruit of merit. Offering not in person is even more vast in the fruit of merit than that. Offering in common, both in person and not in person, should be known to be even more vast in the fruit of merit than that. The offering that I make is to make offerings to the Tathagata or the stupa with my own hands, not relying on laziness, negligence, and carelessness to let others do it. The offering that is made by others is to show the offering items that are slightly insufficient, with a compassionate heart, to other suffering beings who have little merit and are incapable, and let them make offerings. There is also a common offering that I make and have others make, I do it myself, and I also let others do it. Among them, the offering that I make is vast in the fruit of merit. The offering that is made by others is even more vast in the fruit of merit than that. The common offering that I make and have others make should be known to be even more vast in the fruit of merit than that. The offering of gain and respect is to offer clothes, food, bedding, medicine and utensils for the treatment of diseases to the Tathagata or the stupa, to speak respectfully, to prostrate, to stand up, to join palms, to do the work of offering, to praise, to offer jewels and utensils, and so on. The vast offering is to make offerings to the Tathagata or the stupa, the seven things are vast, offering for a long time is vast in time, offering with many things is vast in many things, offering with abundant things is vast in abundant things, offering in person and not in person is vast in the difference of places, doing it yourself and letting others do it is the difference of the person who makes the offering.
