The Immovable Ground, because wisdom is irreversible, it is the Non-Returning Ground, because it is difficult for all beings to know, it is the Difficult to Approach Ground, because there is no fault, it is the Youthful Ground, because it is as desired, it is the Birth Ground, and because there is no action, it is the Perfectly Accomplished Ground, because wisdom is extremely discriminating, it is the Ultimate Ground, because aspirations are extremely manifested and accomplished, it is the Nirvana Ground, because it is not disturbed by others, it is the Blessing Ground, and because the previous limit is manifested and accomplished, it is called the Spontaneously Accomplished Ground. The definitive words for individuals are distinguished in detail: Because the afflictions of signs arise universally and do not move, it is indicated by the term "immovable." This shows that the Bodhisattva, because the afflictions of signs arise universally and does not move, has attained the Immovable Ground. This is shown in two ways: one is immovable, and the other is immovable in identity, thus it is called attaining the Immovable Ground. Among them, the so-called "one is immovable" means that it is constantly and continuously blessed by the blessings of the Thus-Gone One. This should be understood as being in terms of five qualities: the merit of offerings gathered by Indra, Brahma, and the protectors of the world; the merit of being constantly guarded by Vajrapani as a shadow; the merit of dwelling in the power of samadhi without abandoning it; the merit of the pure land of manifesting and accomplishing immeasurable bodies; and the five merits of maturing all sentient beings. Possessing all the power of bodily conduct, therefore having the merit of taking birth for a specific purpose; and perfectly accomplishing great superknowledge, therefore having the merit of the ability to know faculties, minds, and habits; and because of mastering infinite samadhi, in order to introduce the Dharma, therefore having the merit of the ability to hold infinite Dharma; and because of truly receiving infinite prophecies, therefore having the merit of the ability to hold; and showing how beings mature and attain perfect enlightenment as it is.

Through the power and merit of meditative absorption, the state of being uniquely unmoving, one attains the Immovable Ground, which is called the Immovable Ground. The so-called uniquely unmoving refers to entering the non-dual mandala of the Great Vehicle. This can be understood through nine aspects of non-duality: possessing extremely discerning wisdom and great supernormal knowledge, hence it is non-dual in wisdom; constantly and continuously emitting rays of wisdom light, hence it is non-dual in teaching; entering the path of the unconditioned realm of Dharma, hence it is non-dual in liberation; being skilled in distinguishing the paths of the world realms, hence it is non-dual in pure lands; perfectly displaying all aspects of merit, hence it is non-dual in entering from the Great Vehicle; being able to autonomously control one's own mind to generate Bodhicitta, hence it is non-dual in omniscience; possessing the wisdom to thoroughly understand the past and future limits, hence it is non-dual in being able to answer questions and prophesy; possessing the wisdom to enter and prevent all demonic activities, hence it is non-dual in entering the essence of Bodhi; following all the realms and activities of the Tathagatas, hence it is non-dual in manifest enlightenment, thus attaining the uniquely unmoving state. Therefore, the eighth ground is called the Immovable Ground. The ninth ground, from the definition of the ninth ground, is that in the realm of perfect wisdom, one manifests the Dharma with perfect speech, and obtains vast intelligence capable of accomplishing individual correct understanding, hence it is shown to be called Excellent Intelligence. Among these, the realm of perfect wisdom is indicated by "having the power to teach the Dharma in all aspects." On the ninth ground, it is called perfect wisdom, and it is to explain what is known and what power is possessed to proclaim it. So, knowing what does one proclaim? Knowing the vessel of liberation that has become fully ripened, and the nature of liberation of those to be tamed, and proclaiming after distinguishing the differences of liberation by the three vehicles. By what power does one proclaim? By the power of the vessel of antidote instructions, and the vessel of Dharma teachings, and the vessel of how to approach similes, and the vessel of what kind of classifications, and so on.
