I have perfect knowledge, individual perfect knowledge of meaning, individual perfect knowledge of definitive words, and individual perfect knowledge of eloquence constantly arise. The objects of the four individual perfect knowledges are the nature of phenomena, the realm of activity of the nature of phenomena, and the many doors of understanding, in that order. Among them, the nature of phenomena is any phenomenon that is encompassed by the principle of abandoning the two extremes. The realm of activity of the nature of phenomena is the very nature of phenomena encompassed by the principle, which becomes the object of how it is known. Understanding is the very object of how it is known, which is expressed to be understood. The many doors of understanding are knowing the immeasurable aspects of that which is expressed to make others understand. Perfect speech has four aspects: perfect retention, perfect exposition, perfect answering questions, and perfect upholding. Among them, perfect retention means that one who is skilled in the wisdom of individual perfect knowledge in this way, who is a treasury of the Tathagata's teachings, who has heard and is a great preacher of the Dharma, obtains countless hundreds of thousands of myriads of doors of retention, such as meaningful forms. One who is skilled in the limbs of sound, possessing countless hundreds of thousands of myriads of doors of retention, teaches the Dharma with eloquence that is immeasurable in such a way, distinguishing it in various ways. Perfect exposition means that when one who has obtained such retention and eloquence sits down to speak the Dharma, the entire three-thousandfold great thousandfold world is completely filled, and sitting on the Dharma seat, he makes various distinctions according to his thoughts and teaches the Dharma to sentient beings. Perfect answering questions means that if countless sentient beings belonging to the unspeakable three-thousandfold great thousandfold world, from the thousandfold world to the second thousandfold world and the third thousandfold world, gather together and ask questions completely in an instant, a moment, or a short time, and each of them asks completely with immeasurable sounds that are distinct, what one asks is not asked by the other.

Furthermore, that Bodhisattva, in a single instant, a finger-snap, a moment, can grasp everything, and with a single word, convey all meanings. The so-called perfect retention is to strive even harder to hold such a light of wisdom. Suppose that in a single pore at the tip of a hair, there reside as many Tathagatas as there are unspeakable numbers of fine dust particles in a world, and in such a number of immeasurable circles of retinues, they teach the Dharma, and each of those Tathagatas also teaches different Dharmas to such a number of immeasurable sentient beings. In each sentient being's mindstream, they also constantly practice such immeasurable Dharmas. Just as one Tathagata does, all Tathagatas do the same. Just as it appears in a single pore at the tip of a hair, so it is in all Dharmadhatus, yet one can grasp everything. One should strive to hold such a light of wisdom. The distinction of good results is the same as before. Because one has obtained those abodes and distinctions, it is said that that limb is complete, because one has truly transcended the thought of acting for the benefit of sentient beings. What are the opposing factors of the tenth ground? It is shown that one cannot obtain the separate true realization of the complete Dharmakaya, and therefore that limb is not complete. The opposing factor of the tenth ground is not having obtained mastery over all Dharmas. Moreover, on the ninth ground, relying on the extremely pure and immovable Samadhi endowed with wisdom, one attains vast great wisdom, and from the beginning of truly teaching the unsurpassed Dharma to others, although one is established in the skillful distinctions of the names, characteristics, definitive words, and various differences of all Dharmas, where does the Bodhisattva abide, and reach the end of the Bodhisattva path, and receive the great Dharma empowerment of unsurpassed perfect enlightenment, either bound by one lifetime or becoming the last existence, after that abode, only without interruption
