Nga. Gathering and increasing, causing all forms to enter the body, causing one to go to the side of those with equal fortune, causing to appear and also causing not to appear, exercising power, subduing the magical powers of others, bestowing courage, bestowing memory, bestowing bliss, emitting light, and those similar to these are called complete transformation. What is called emanation is the emanation from something without substance, according to what the mind of emanation desires. There are three types: body emanation, speech emanation, and object emanation. Body emanation is the emanation of being similar or dissimilar to oneself, the emanation of being similar or dissimilar to others, and the emanation of many body emanations. These are also similar to the senses, and they emanate the support of the senses, but not the senses themselves. Speech emanation is having a pleasant tone, a clear voice, being related to oneself, being related to others, being unrelated to both, realizing the teaching of the Dharma, and realizing the encouragement of the heedless. Object emanation is the emanation of food and drink, jewels and pearls, and forms, sounds, smells, tastes, and tangible objects, realizing all external objects as desired. The combination of complete transformation and emanation is called the realm of magical power. What is called knowledge of the realm of magical power is the knowledge that is combined with that power, arising from meditation, which is the fruit of meditation. Because that knowledge experiences that realm and shows it closely, it is called knowledge of the realm of magical power. What is called making manifest the knowledge of the realm of magical power is the seed of that knowledge itself, which is completely grasped and completely increased by the cause of its arising, following the continuum of that person. Because the seed is completely increased, that person is able to manifest that knowledge, therefore it is called making manifest the knowledge of the realm of magical power. The collection of all these together is called the manifest knowledge of making manifest the knowledge of the realm of magical power. Its function is

There are two aspects: one is to guide sentient beings through the miracles of magical power, leading them into the Buddha's teachings; the other is to provide various and numerous benefits to suffering sentient beings. As for the so-called "manifestation of the super-knowledge of divine ear consciousness," what is the divine ear? What is the divine ear consciousness? What is the manifestation of divine ear consciousness? The so-called divine ear refers to the pure form gathered by the ear, which is the result of meditating on the abodes of the gods. This divine ear relies on the existence of the divine abodes, and it is its result and what it gathers, therefore it is called divine ear. With it, one can hear the sounds of gods and humans, as well as those of noble ones and non-noble ones, loud sounds and soft sounds, clear sounds and unclear sounds, transformed sounds and non-transformed sounds, distant sounds and near sounds. In short, these can be summarized as: the differences in the places where beings dwell, the differences between well-spoken and poorly spoken words, the differences in size, the differences between being understandable and not understandable, the differences between having power and not having power, and the differences in distance. Therefore, one should consider that all the differences in sounds are included therein. If it is clear and starts from other world realms below, above, and directly, and does not enter into hearing, then one can hear sounds down to the Avici hell and up to the Akanishtha heaven, and directly within the realm of one three-thousand great thousand world system. If it enters into hearing, then one can hear all the sounds of countless immeasurable world realms below, above, and directly. That is what is called the divine ear. The so-called divine ear consciousness refers to the consciousness that relies on that ear, and the wisdom that is in accordance with it, which arises from meditation and is the result of meditation. This consciousness can hear those sounds and experience them, therefore it is called divine ear consciousness. The so-called manifestation of divine ear consciousness refers to the seed of that consciousness itself, which is completely seized and fully grown by the conditions for its arising, in the continuum of that person.
