The 'mark' is the aspect of realizing emptiness that transcends limits. That is, realizing that there is no person at all times of permanence and steadfastness. The 'mark of impermanence' is the aspect of realizing the emptiness of beginning and all. That is, realizing the emptiness of impermanence, which has no beginning or end of compounded things. The 'mark of suffering' and 'the nature of change' is the aspect of realizing the emptiness of non-abandonment. The nature of suffering and the nature of change are combined into one mark. Among them, the nature of suffering is also the skandha, and the nature of change is also the skandha. Because it is the truth of suffering, it is the nature of impermanence. The skandha of the nature of suffering and the skandha of the nature of change are called 'abandonment,' which is a synonym for skandha. Non-abandonment is nirvana. Because it is the nature of the cessation of suffering and the absence of change. The aspect of realizing it is called the mark of the nature of the ground of suffering and no change. Among them, the 'mark of the unchanging nature' is the aspect of realizing the emptiness of inherent existence. That is, the nature of suffering and change, that unchanging nature is permanent, such a thought is combined with the realization of the emptiness of inherent existence. Among them, some people think that if all dharmas are empty of inherent existence, then what unchanging nature do the actions of desire, etc., which have become the nature of sentient beings, as well as thoughts, habits, inclinations, elements, and lineages, etc., rely on to have the knowledge of various thoughts of sentient beings, the knowledge of various habits, the knowledge of various inclinations, the knowledge of various elements, etc., and the dharmas by which the unshared dharmas of the Buddhas arise, then it is not reasonable. Therefore, those dharmas of unchanging nature are truly existent in the ultimate truth, and the dharmas that are thought of in this way should be contemplated with the emptiness of inherent existence.

If so, then the aspect of seeing emptiness is called the characteristic of unchanging nature. The characteristic of not mixing conditioned phenomena, or the characteristic of its own nature, is the aspect of realizing the emptiness of characteristics. What does not mix with conditioned phenomena is unconditioned phenomena, which is the ultimate truth. Its own nature is conditioned phenomena, which is the conventional truth. Realizing that these two natures are without self-nature and empty, these two characteristics are counted separately. Recognizing everything as everything is called the characteristic of everything, which is the aspect of realizing the emptiness of everything. It is the realization that all phenomena, encompassed by conditioned and unconditioned phenomena, are empty. The characteristic of the selflessness of persons is the aspect of realizing the emptiness of unfindability. It is the realization that persons are unfindable and empty. The characteristic of the selflessness of phenomena is the aspect of realizing the emptiness of no-thingness. It is the realization that all phenomena are empty of no-thingness. Entering in that way is called entering the Suchness that is the antidote to all characteristics of other-dependence. Abiding there extensively is called fully familiarizing oneself with that Suchness and practicing it repeatedly. From time to time means the time of Śamatha (藏文:ཞི་གནས།,梵文天城体:समय,梵文罗马拟音:samaya,汉语字面意思:time of calming), the time of Vipaśyanā (藏文:ལྷག་མཐོང་།,梵文天城体:विपश्यना,梵文罗马拟音:vipaśyanā,汉语字面意思:time of seeing), and the time of both. What will happen to a Bodhisattva who enters in that way? The answer is: In the inner, individual self-natures, the individually self-aware Suchness, seven kinds of wisdom will arise, each separately realizing the seven kinds of Suchness, it is said. Among them, in the inner, individual self-natures refers to the essence of the mind. Individually self-aware refers to non-duality. Separately realizing the seven kinds of Suchness refers to the Suchness of the elements, and so on. Because the characteristic of the way things actually exist as knowable objects is gathered into those seven. Seven kinds of wisdom will arise means that through the way of realizing the seven kinds of Suchness, there are also seven kinds of wisdom, but as for the essence of wisdom itself, there is no division into seven, because it is the essence of the path of seeing.
