The first is unsurpassed wisdom, as stated in the sutra: "Possessing wisdom that thoroughly understands," which indicates that it is because all things that should be understood with wisdom are understood. This has four aspects: the wisdom of thoroughly understanding itself, the wisdom of understanding profound meaning itself, the wisdom of thoroughly understanding itself being without impurity, and the wisdom of thoroughly understanding itself being unsurpassed. Among these, the wisdom of thoroughly understanding itself, as stated in the sutra: "Not possessing two kinds of conduct," indicates that it is because the characteristics of the inner and outer sense bases are not engaged in. The wisdom of understanding profound meaning itself, as stated in the sutra: "Being supremely devoted to the Dharma of no characteristics," indicates that it is because of being supremely devoted to the selflessness of phenomena. The wisdom of thoroughly understanding itself being without impurity, as stated by: "Abiding by the abiding of the Buddhas," indicates that it is because of having completely transcended the abiding of Bodhisattvas. The wisdom of thoroughly understanding itself being unsurpassed, as stated by: "Attaining equality with all Buddhas," indicates that it is because there is no difference from all Buddhas. This is the explanation of the perfection of one's own purpose through unsurpassed wisdom. The second branch is unsurpassed abandonment, as stated in the sutra: "Understanding the realization without obscurations," which indicates that it is because of realizing all that is to be realized. This has three aspects: realization through not possessing the obscuration of afflictions, realization through not possessing the obscuration of their maturation, and realization through not possessing the obscuration of knowable objects. Among these, realization through not possessing the obscuration of afflictions is indicated by the two phrases: "Possessing the Dharma of non-retrogression, not being robbed by the sphere of activity," which indicates that in the future, those that have been abandoned will not be lost, and afflictions will not arise in the present, in that order. Realization through not possessing the obscuration of their maturation is indicated by: "Establishing the inconceivable," which indicates that it is because of establishing the inconceivable body. Realization through not possessing the obscuration of knowable objects is equality in the three times.

It is said that "already completed" indicates that there is no attachment or obstruction to the three times, because the equality of wisdom has been completed. This is through the unsurpassed abandonment, showing the perfection of one's own benefit. The third branch is the combination of self-interest, as stated in the sutra, "Having the body that enters all the worlds," indicating the reason for benefiting immeasurable sentient beings. The entering body has four aspects: necessity, method, absence of complete defilements, and essence. Among these, necessity refers to "having the wisdom without doubt about all dharmas," indicating the cutting off of all doubts. The method is "having the intelligence that corresponds to all actions," indicating the reason for showing birth in Tushita and other places. Absence of complete defilements refers to "having no hesitation in understanding the Dharma," indicating that one knows the worldly dharmas separately from the beginning, so it is the absence of complete defilements. Essence refers to "having the unconceptualized body," indicating that it does not arise from the conceptual thoughts of defilements, which is through its combination of self-interest, showing the perfection of benefiting others. The fourth branch is the combination of benefiting others, as stated in the sutra, "Having completely taken the wisdom of all Bodhisattvas," indicating that the Bodhisattvas have completely taken wisdom as their own wisdom. Completely taking wisdom has three aspects: commitment, accomplishment, and realization. Among these, commitment refers to "the Buddha's non-dual state, the supreme transcendence," indicating that the Bodhisattva commits to becoming one with the Dharmakaya that will become a Buddha. Accomplishment refers to "having reached the end of the wisdom of the Tathagata's unmixed liberation," indicating that the Tathagata's wisdom and abandonment are not different, thus accomplishing the reason. Realization refers to "having realized the equality of the Buddha without beginning or end," indicating that the state of those two, the suchness Dharma
