Because it is the antidote to it, that is the meaning of dispelling. That which cannot be suppressed by anything, I do not say, because it is the meaning of the perfectly accomplished suchness, individually and truly knowing, that is not to be dispelled. The Blessed One, with the example of a vessel with muddy water, and the example of a mirror completely impure, and the example of confusion, etc., regarding "suchness with attention," suchness is the suchness of complete knowledge. Attention is because of attention with the three wisdoms of the meditative ground, thus it is declared, that is what is indicated. Among them, these three examples, in other sutras, the fault of the mind becoming turbid is threefold: the fault of inappropriate attention, the fault of latent tendencies, and the fault of pervasive entanglement. If the mind arising from these listening, contemplation, and meditation becomes turbid, then one cannot attend to suchness as it is, and vice versa, one cannot, as is said in the example. The uncultivated mind refers to the mind of the meditative ground being defiled by the previous three faults. Not being able to know as it is refers to attending to the suchness of complete knowledge, not being able to know as it is. What is the individual examination of the mind, refers to the meaning of which mind of the meditative ground attends to the suchness of complete knowledge. From what is suchness spoken, refers to the meaning of what is the suchness attended to by the three wisdoms of the meditative ground. Maitreya, because there are three kinds of individual examination of the mind, with the opposite example of a vessel with muddy water, etc., the mind is not defiled by the three faults, therefore attending to the suchness of complete knowledge, and showing the three kinds of mind that are able to know as it is, namely the mind arising from listening on the meditative ground, etc., completely.

Uncorrected, individually examining the thusness of consciousness-only. It is fully revealed from the thusness of consciousness-only, which means that the thusness contemplated by the three wisdoms of the meditative state is the thusness of consciousness-only, which is the nature of all phenomena being only consciousness. Thus, individually understanding the thusness of consciousness-only with the three wisdoms of the meditative state is contemplating thusness, as previously mentioned. This reveals the meaning of "arising pervasively in subtle ways." World-Honored One, Bodhisattvas thus truly understand the Dharma and meaning separately, and enter into the elimination of signs, etc., because they previously asked, "How should signs be eliminated?" The answer was that they are eliminated by fully understanding the sign of other-powered phenomena as the Dharma of no-sign, and by completely abandoning the Dharma of the sign of pervasive affliction. This shows what is difficult to eliminate among the signs of other-powered phenomena, and by what antidote they are eliminated. This is the meaning of fully understanding. Asking, "How many signs are difficult to eliminate?" is related to the previously mentioned "eliminating the sign of Dharma and the sign of meaning," and among these, in what situations are there signs that are difficult to eliminate. Asking, "In what way are these eliminated?" is related to what antidote. The answer, "There are ten signs that are difficult to eliminate," is related to the previously mentioned "truly understanding the Dharma and meaning separately," and there is the elimination of signs in ten situations. It should be known that in ten situations, there are sixteen signs that are difficult to eliminate. When asked, "In what way are these eliminated?" it is said, "They are eliminated by emptiness," which is related to the fact that in ten situations there are sixteen signs that are difficult to eliminate, and they are eliminated by the sixteen emptinesses. Asking, "Which ten?" is related to asking, "Which ten situations?" All the signs of these ten situations
