The second complete knowledge. Abandoning the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing the cessation associated with desire is the third complete knowledge. Abandoning the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing the path associated with desire is the fourth complete knowledge. Abandoning the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing the cessation associated with form and formlessness is the fifth complete knowledge. Abandoning the afflictions to be abandoned by seeing the path associated with form and formlessness is the sixth complete knowledge. Abandoning the omnipresent bond that is in accordance with the final part is the seventh complete knowledge. Abandoning desire for form is the eighth complete knowledge. Abandoning desire for formlessness is the ninth complete knowledge. Like that and so on. Abandoning is completely twofold, namely abandoning by seeing and abandoning by meditation, like that and so on. Manifestation is twofold, namely manifesting the path and manifesting the fruit, like that and so on. Meditation is fourfold, namely meditating on attainment, meditating on reliance, meditating on abandonment, and meditating on the antidote, like that and so on, whatever is the detailed distinction of those aspects. The characteristic of being related to a place and dwelling is related to Dharma and meaning, that is, it is related by the characteristic of its own nature and by the characteristic of being born from it. The characteristic of the intervening Dharma is obscuration and so on. The characteristic of the conforming Dharma is complete equality and so on. The characteristic of faults and benefits is that the benefit of oneself and others is completely equal and becomes perfect. The five realms are the five immeasurables, by which Bodhisattvas will become skilled in everything. The world realm is the immeasurable world realm. The vessel world is immeasurable in the ten directions, and the names are also immeasurable, which the Bodhisattva should completely purify. The sentient being realm is the immeasurable sentient being realm, the sentient beings whose lineage has been properly established and those whose lineage has not been established.

The sixty-four categories are those that Bodhisattvas should fully mature. The so-called realm of Dharma is the immeasurable realm of Dharma, through which virtuous, non-virtuous, and unstated dharmas, in those worlds, the realms of sentient beings are affected by afflictions and purification, which Bodhisattvas should understand. The so-called realm of taming is the immeasurable realm of taming, in which, among those sentient beings, which sentient beings have correctly established their lineage and have the fortune to be freed from suffering, Bodhisattvas should liberate them. The so-called realm of methods of taming is the immeasurable methods of taming, and Bodhisattvas should show those sentient beings the methods of liberation. Through the three meanings of loving-kindness, it should also be understood that all meanings are encompassed, which means that the profound and vast meanings of the place and the dweller are encompassed, therefore, the nature and thorough distinction of correctly understanding the meanings individually, and how Bodhisattvas individually correctly understand the conclusion are shown. Therefore, by destroying pride and without pride, distinguishing the nature of the path of calm abiding and insight, in order not to regress and waste from that, by teaching and explaining, the establishment of non-pride is shown, which indicates the teaching of establishment for the sake of destroying pride and not wasting. After that, in order not to waste by merely calm abiding, the meaning of the words of establishment, etc., will be explained. The so-called merely calm abiding refers to merely calm abiding without the wisdom and vision of insight. The so-called establishment for the sake of not wasting means that because calm abiding cannot fully perfect the nature of the path of insight, if one is merely satisfied with this, one will regress and waste from the nature of the path of calm abiding and insight, therefore, in order not to regress and waste from that, through teaching and explanation, the meanings are distinguished by the three kinds of wisdom.

How to establish the determination of the path of insight (vipassanā) that is distinguished by the distinction of correctly discerning, and the wisdom arising from meditation, and the nature of seeing. So, how to connect it? Here, the noble Maitreya thinks that yogis combine the nature of the path of tranquility (samatha) and insight, and should not be satisfied with just the extent of tranquility, and a little wisdom and seeing, but should rely on the completely pure path of tranquility, and the path of insight must be completely perfected. Therefore, after examining the thoughts of those who think that the distinction of correctly discerning all dharmas with the three wisdoms, and the wisdom arising from meditation, and the path of insight completely distinguished by the nature of seeing are complete, the Blessed One asked, "What is the wisdom arising from hearing that can correctly discern all dharmas?" etc., connecting to the questioning of these two questions. Here, since the distinction of correctly discerning all dharmas with the three wisdoms is shown, the establishment of determination is shown in order not to be exhausted by tranquility alone. By showing the wisdom arising from meditation and the nature of seeing, it is shown by explanation. The so-called wisdom arising from hearing is that which arises by dwelling on words and phrases, so it can correctly discern the dharmas of words and phrases, etc. The so-called meaning dwelling on words and phrases refers to the meaning that relies on name, sentence, letter, individual, and aggregate. The so-called meaning of the word as it is refers to the meaning of what is shown by the so-called unintentional meaning. The so-called unmanifest meaning refers to the image that is in accordance with the object of knowledge, the object of equality, that is not manifest. The so-called meaning in accordance with liberation refers to the fact that since the wisdom arising from meditation correctly discerns all dharmas, it is the cause of the lineage of liberation. The so-called non-liberation meaning refers to the fact that it itself cannot directly liberate. The so-called correctly discerning refers to the wisdom that looks outward.
