It is unknowable to attain Dharma by the characteristic of perfect purification by dissolution. Furthermore, it is like this for those Tathagatas: starting from the absence of inherent existence of characteristics and the absence of inherent existence of ultimate reality, etc., it is because in the realm of sentient beings, sentient beings perceive the nature of what is imputed by thoughts as distinct by its own nature, and also perceive the nature of what is perfectly established as distinct by its own nature. Therefore, they do not cling to the absence of inherent existence of characteristics and the absence of inherent existence of ultimate reality. If they do not see it, they cling to it. As it is said, how they do not see it has been shown before in the context of briefly showing the distinctions to be established. Because they do not see it in that way, they cling to it. How they cling to it has also been shown. After they hear that Dharma, etc., it is the opposite of how the establishment that accords with the aspects of complete affliction was shown before in the context of briefly showing the distinctions to be established. To generate the power of knowledge in this life is for the sake of destroying signs and abandoning bad states. Because the lineage is completely cut off in the next life, there is no cause for the arising of other's power in the next life because of abandoning signs and bad states in this life. To prevent is to transform the place. This path and this practice are synonyms, that is, by this very establishment of the absence of inherent existence. The completely pure path is the same, it is the common path to be liberated from the obscurations of afflictions. Complete purity is also the same, it is from the perspective of the fruit of liberation from the obscurations of afflictions, because understanding the selflessness of phenomena of the nature of what is imputed by thoughts is also present in Hearers and Solitary Buddhas. Then why does it not become omniscience? It should be known that the aspects of what is to be known are not limited to that, because there are still many other distinctions of other-powered nature to be known, and those have not yet been known. The various lineages of sentient beings are also not non-existent, which refers to the three vehicles differentiated by the order of faculties.

The statement "It is not that there are no designations in the category of mothers" is a specific teaching on the basis of the doctrine and practice. After that, we should explain the meaning of the words that show the difference in practice based on the basis of lineage. The so-called practice based on the basis of lineage is that those beings who have the lineage to realize the Hearer Vehicle, the Tathagata has established the three aspects of selflessness and taught the Dharma based on the basis of their own lineage. The Hearer Vehicle practices the path that is in accordance with the aspect of purification. Therefore, in terms of that teaching, it is said, "The individual who is a Hearer of the noble lineage of true reality is the only one who goes to peace." Here, the so-called lineage is the basis of having a share. It is also summarized into two types: naturally abiding and truly accomplished. Among them, the so-called naturally abiding lineage is the difference of the six sense sources that have been passed down from beginningless time and obtained by the nature of Dharma. It is also the basis of the share of obtaining the fruit of whatever conditions it is combined with, which is consciousness. The so-called truly accomplished lineage is what is obtained from the previous habituation of virtuous roots. It is also the basis of having the share of obtaining the fruit of whatever conditions are truly accomplished only at the beginning on that naturally abiding lineage. Among them, the so-called naturally abiding lineage is naturally present in all sentient beings without the need for true accomplishment. The so-called truly accomplished lineage is not obtained until it is truly accomplished.
