I do not associate with those who disturb sentient beings, completely destroy the sacred Dharma, the Paramitas, and the complete dedication of the three aggregates. Made of gold from the Jambu River, not hammered by a blacksmith. Giving is giving food and so on. Great giving is giving up children, wives, and royal power, and so on. Extreme giving is giving up the head and hands, and so on. The Bhagavan Bodhisattva is liberated from Nirvana, but not from Samsara. Why is that? The Bodhisattva fears Nirvana, but does not fear Samsara. The Bodhisattva does not need to learn a great many Dharmas. Bhagavan, if the Bodhisattva holds one Dharma and thoroughly understands it, all the Buddha's Dharmas are in the palm of his hand. What is that one Dharma? It is great compassion. Fourth, from practice, with the aim of accomplishing all-knowing wisdom, liberating sentient beings, not cutting off the lineage of the Three Jewels, and fully upholding the qualities and adornments of the Buddha-fields, make offerings to the Tathagata. These four are the superior Bodhicitta, and the four are to generate Bodhicitta in order to gather sentient beings, ripen them, accumulate roots of virtue, and realize the Dharma. The four diamond-like Bodhicittas are: not being angry with beggars, having compassion for those who have gone astray, not losing wisdom, and the mind of diligent non-laziness. The four supreme Bodhicittas are: discipline, hearing, love, and compassion are supreme. The four vajra-like Bodhicittas are: intention, friendship, diligence, and non-reversion from the Great Vehicle. The four Bodhicittas that are difficult to obtain are: not mixing with afflictions, gains, respect, verses, the Lesser Vehicle, and immature people. The four unsurpassed Bodhicittas are: giving up all stinginess, not regretting after giving, not hoping for different ripening results, and making the mind of dedication to Bodhi. The four Dharmas of the Paramita on the crown of the head are: wisdom of

And going to the other shore, skillful means, upholding the sacred Dharma, and maturing sentient beings. Excellent Dharma, the four excellences are: not being angry with sentient beings, generating the mind to liberate even those who act contrary, being cautious even when obtaining a vast country, and practicing Dharma even when afflicted by poverty. The four virtuous Dharmas are: engaging in all virtuous Dharmas, not despising those who have not learned, being a spiritual friend to sentient beings without being asked, and not expecting repayment for accomplishing merits. In the Brahma's Request Sutra, it says: Possessing four qualities, a Bodhisattva is a barbarian. What are the four? Being stingy like a crow, speaking meaningless words, not harmonizing with the minds of others. Praising oneself and disparaging others. Holding this life as most important. Separating harmony. Wherever there are jealous people, unenthusiastic people, people who enjoy talking, people who tell jokes, people who are improper, and people who are separated from righteous conduct, Buddhas and Bodhisattvas do not dwell there. These four are the precipice for those who have renounced in this teaching. What are the four? That is, disrespecting the Buddha, abandoning the Dharma, hating those who preach the Dharma, and receiving offerings with faith without diligence. In the Prophecy Given by Ashoka Sutra, it says: A Bodhisattva should not be regarded as a householder or a renunciate. Why? Because they are distinguished by intention, wisdom, and knowledge. In the Sutra Requested by Courageous Intelligence, it says: Possessing five qualities, one will obtain encounters with the Three Jewels in all lifetimes, and will also obtain perfect hearing of the Dharma as desired, namely: after oneself taking refuge in the Three Jewels, also leading others to take refuge, causing the body images of the Tathagatas to increase, respectfully and harmoniously relying on the Khenpo and Acharya, regarding all sentient beings as one's only child, and accomplishing the upholding of profound sutras, etc., without interruption. In the Noble Sutra of the Complete Purification of Karmic Obscurations, it says: Bodhisattvas are extremely delighted with the five desirable qualities and do not abandon them.
