Not abandoning, and seeing the Buddha's teachings as the nature of desire, that will obtain the obscurations of karma. From the chapter of "All Doors": In countless billions of kalpas, my Dharma will change, like one day each day, how many sentient beings are in the three thousand worlds, all causing them to enter nirvana, even if all are done that way, the realm of sentient beings will not be exhausted. From entering the samadhi of definite and indefinite, if someone with a mind of hatred, destroys the immeasurable precepts and so on of the five aggregates of the Hearers and Solitary Buddhas, and another with a mind of hatred, destroys the precepts of the Bodhisattva who has faith in the Great Vehicle, even just one precept, then, that will generate immeasurably great evil. If someone imprisons all the sentient beings of the ten directions of the world, it is not as bad as someone who, with a mind of hatred, is angry at a Bodhisattva, thinking: May I not encounter this! The latter is more evil than the former. If someone gouges out the eyes of all sentient beings in the ten directions, it is not as bad as someone who looks at a Bodhisattva with an angry gaze, the evil is greater. If someone causes all the Solitary Buddhas of the ten directions to regress from the state of Solitary Buddha, it is not as bad as someone who causes one Bodhisattva to regress from the state of Bodhisattva, the evil is greater. From the Hundred Thousand Prajnaparamita Sutra: Among the six perfections, there are also worldly ones, and there are also transcendent ones. All those with objects of focus are worldly, because they do not move or excel from the world. Those without objects of focus are transcendent. Both are called Paramita. In the question of the Good Wisdom Daughter, it says: Four things will become beautiful: not being angry at enemies, abiding in loving-kindness, desiring the Dharma, and causing the making of the body of the Tathagata. Possessing four things will become wealthy: giving at the right time, giving without regret, giving pleasing things, and giving without expecting the result of maturation. Possessing four things will become unparalleled: approaching virtuous friends without hypocrisy.

Relying on this, not being stingy with the roots of virtue, rejoicing in the gains of others, and not being angry with all the activities and abodes of Bodhisattvas. If one possesses four qualities, the Buddha will be present before one at the time of death, and one will be without suffering while hearing the Dharma, namely, fulfilling the wishes of others, having much faith, Bodhisattvas performing various acts of generosity, and diligently making offerings to the Three Jewels. In the "Glorious Renunciation Sutra," it says: This is an increase in the assembly of Dharma; if one sees fault in those with faults, one confesses and admits it, and also keeps vows in the future. In the "Five Hundred Prajñāpāramitā Sutra," Subhūti said, "Whatever the Blessed One has taught—that form is without inherent existence, without arising, peaceful from the beginning, and completely liberated from suffering by its very nature—all of that is not a veiled intention, but should be understood as it is, according to the letter." If one says this, then even outsiders will eventually abide on the side of ordinary beings, speaking falsely. Those who do not see form as it truly is, but merely as conceptual constructs, are fixated on form as form. In the "King of the Qualities of All Dharmas," it says: One should dwell in solitude possessing four qualities: abandoning dwelling at home, abandoning unwholesome spiritual friends, abandoning householders, and giving up all possessions. Two things cause one to fall into hell: desire and hatred. Four things cause one to go to heaven: having equanimity towards sentient beings, having pure thoughts, giving up all possessions, and abiding in pure conduct. In the Sutra Requested by Deva, it says: Possessing four qualities, seeing the Tathagata is meaningful; the four are trust, faith, not letting go, and respect. A Bodhisattva should wear such robes that he has abandoned desire for himself, and will not generate desire for others. In the "Manifestation of Miracles at the Time of Increasing the Buddha's Power Sutra," it says: Even if one makes a stupa of clay as a joke, a jest, or with a child's play, for the sake of offering to the Tathagata, all of these are suffering.
