Pa. I was amazed at where these sounds came from. Akashagarbha said: Son of good family, what do you think? Where did the echo of the rock come from? (I) said: It comes from hearing the sound of the other side. He said: From the echo of the rock, is there a body or mind? Is there a shape or color? Is there any form? (I) said: No, it is like that. Even without the echo of the rock, one can hear the sound. Similarly, even without space, one can hear sounds and languages. He said: Who hears this sound? Where did this tone come from? (I) said: The understanding of wisdom is inconceivable. If I think with my mind, even if it comes from this blissful manifestation, the mind will not go there. It does not come like this either, but the image of the sound will also appear. Son of good family, look how profound this dependent origination is! Even when the fruit arises from the cause, the cause does not transfer to the fruit. Nor does the fruit arise from the absence of a cause. For example, this dharma of the fruit arising from cause and condition, both are immovable and without an author. Those who know such an assembly are separated. Why? Because the Blessed One has also said that whoever knows all the afflictions, that itself is its purification. Ratnachuda asked: What are the eight completely pure behaviors of the Bodhisattva's discipline paramita? They are: not changing behavior with a mind free from contamination; abandoning all attachments, without hypocrisy; being content by nature, not flattering; being humble with the qualities and resources of practice, perfectly holding the noble lineage; not abandoning living in solitude, not caring for the body; completely holding the Dharma, not caring for life; abandoning busyness, delighting in solitude; and fearing all three realms, having faith in the courage of the Dharma. Prajnaparamita, called going to the other shore, is therefore called Paramita. Having gone beyond all signs, all objects, and all the mental activities of sentient beings, therefore it is called Paramita.
