Then, the Tathāgatagarbha, the basis of all, the Alaya-vijñāna, has not been proclaimed, therefore there is no entering. If it turns into no turning back, then the great wisdom is done, and there is entering into the noble ones, and there is also turning back, so the yogis do not want to be diligent, and they abide in the happiness of this life with their own self-awareness. Warmth, moisture, solidity, and movement, phenomena are distinguished by children. Not truly adding exaggerations, there is no characteristic and no basis. This body of the constant ones, this is the body of eight substances, in the shape and senses of the body, children mistakenly distinguish. Body, enjoyment, and places, are the three forms of consciousness to be grasped, mind and mind consciousness, and distinction are the three graspers. Manifest attachment to one's own mind, the mind will become very deep. External appearance is completely absent, therefore it is only mind. The senses are like illusions, the objects are like dreams. The doer, the action, and the deed itself, are not moving in any way. Everything exists in the conventional truth, but nothing exists in the ultimate truth. Whatever appears in various ways is the mind stained by evil deeds. Appearing as form is clinging, the mind is confused in external objects. The appearance is like a rabbit's horn, people have discrimination. Like a deer in a mirage, those who realize are wrong. Due to the manifestation of attachment to discrimination, discrimination arises very much. The nature of external speculation is dependent on others and arises from its own basis. Not seeing the illusion born in oneself, their minds are very terrified. Its cause is aimed at it, it is a place where the mind does not enter, and it also produces the cause of the mind, but consciousness also dwells in it. Those who have the nature of things, as long as external objects are distinguished, if one does not see one's own mistakes, then the mind will grow. The mind does not arise from habits, the mind and habits are not one, the mind is not different, and habits are entangled in everything. Arising from the consciousness of the mind, habits should be viewed as dirt, the mind is like a white cloth, and habits make it unadorned. Asked from the time of Nirvana

Did the Blessed One establish eight consciousnesses? He did. If so, why was the mind consciousness not stopped and established? The Buddha said: Because of its causes and conditions, the assembled consciousnesses arise. O Great Wisdom, the mind consciousness is manifestly attached to and arises from distinguishing the differences of objects, thus greatly increasing the alaya consciousness of habits. Simultaneously with the mind, it is manifestly attached to grasping self and what belongs to self. Like one who follows his own mind, the alaya consciousness becomes the cause, and its object is the characteristic of not being a different body. Because of manifest attachment to the object of the appearance of one's own mind, the past mind that has become one cause arises. O Great Wisdom, like the great ocean, it enters and ceases because it is moved by the wind of the object of the appearance of one's own mind. Thus, because the mind consciousness is stopped, the seven will also be stopped. After relying on the alaya, the mind also enters very much. After relying on the mind and the mind, consciousness enters. On white, impurity appears. On impurity, the mind does not appear. Like clouds in the sky, so the mind does not appear. All arising and changing is formless, but what is not made of arising and changing has form. A gandharva city, a dream, an illusion, a mirage are not arising and changing. Just as gold is pure, and water is turbid and clear, just as there are no clouds in the sky, so is the purification of discrimination. The fearless Madhyamaka and the Mind-Only, those who are not Madhyamaka arise constantly. On the aggregation of qualities, particles, and substances, children discriminate about form. Particles do not exist one by one, so they are also meaningless. One's own mind is the shape of appearance, but to people, the external appears. The appearance of the external is not existent, so it is also meaningless. Tangled hair, illusion, dream, a gandharva city, a torch, various mirages, although they do not exist, they appear very much to people. Mind and discrimination, discernment, mind and consciousness itself, alaya, those who shake the three existences, these are names for mind. Those who are stingy shravakas and heretics.
