And also, great compassion, and all the Buddha's teachings are completely fulfilled. Subhuti, in this way, a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva abiding on the tenth ground is called a Tathagata. Although no dharma can be specified, there is a classification of three vehicles. From this Prajnaparamita, the three vehicles are extensively explained. What are the three? They are the Hearer Vehicle, the Pratyekabuddha Vehicle, and the Perfectly Complete Buddha Vehicle. From here, with unobstructed Buddha eyes, I see that in the eastern world realms as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, there are countless sentient beings. Although they practice unsurpassed Bodhi, because they do not possess the skillful means of Prajnaparamita, only one or two of them will abide on the irreversible ground, and most will abide on the Hearer ground or the Pratyekabuddha ground. Why is that? Kausika, unsurpassed Bodhi is difficult to attain by those who are lazy, unenthusiastic, weak in thought, low in aspiration, and shallow in wisdom. In the south and other ten directions, it is observed in the same way. Subhuti, foolish people will think of finding fault with this Prajnaparamita and think of abandoning it. These people will also ordain in this Vinaya. Subhuti, just as some dogs do not eat their master's leftovers but instead want to find other work to find food, in the future, sons and daughters of good families of the Bodhisattva Vehicle will abandon this profound Prajnaparamita, which is the root of all Buddha dharmas, and instead want to rely on the Sutras of Hearers and Pratyekabuddhas, which are like branches, leaves, and petals. Subhuti, this is also an act that Bodhisattva-Mahasattvas should recognize as the work of Mara. Subhuti, furthermore, in the future, practitioners of the Bodhisattva Vehicle, for the sake of gain and honor, will want to master all the Sutra Pitakas related to Hearers and Pratyekabuddhas. This is also the work of Mara. It is like searching for footprints to find an elephant,

Wishing to see the great ocean, one thinks of searching for the footprints of an ox. After seeing the footprints, if one wonders whether this is the same as the ocean or not, is that a wise person? Subhuti replied, "No, it is not." Even the mental activity associated with Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas arises as the work of Mara. Similarly, wanting to build a palace of complete victory, but taking measurements from the immeasurable palace of the sun and moon; wanting to see a Chakravartin king, but being content after seeing a borderland king; abandoning food with a hundred flavors and seeking food with sixty flavors; finding a priceless jewel and thinking of comparing it to a plum—these are like unwise people. Abandoning the Prajnaparamita and having desires associated with the lesser vehicle is also the work of Mara. If not completely grasped by the mind of all-knowing wisdom, know that those Bodhisattva vehicle practitioners will gradually decline in the intermediate state. Subhuti, what are those things that gradually decline? For example, the ground of the Sravakas or the ground of the Pratyekabuddhas. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, the Tathagatas should be regarded as the virtuous friends of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. The Bodhisattva Mahasattvas are virtuous friends. Any Sravakas who speak, teach, explain, and interpret the six perfections, and who differentiate, clarify, and accurately teach them, should also be regarded as the virtuous friends of the Bodhisattva Mahasattvas. Subhuti asked: Blessed One, what is the nature of the Prajnaparamita? Subhuti replied: The nature that is like the sky, without formation, is the Prajnaparamita. The Prajnaparamita is without nature, because there is no nature whatsoever in the Prajnaparamita. Subhuti asked: By what nature does the Prajnaparamita exist, and by that nature, do all dharmas exist in such a way that such a term exists? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, it is so, it is so. It is so, it is so. By whatever nature the Prajnaparamita exists, by that very nature, all dharmas exist. Why is that? Subhuti, all dharmas are empty of inherent existence, dharma

Everything is devoid of all dharmas. All dharmas are empty of all dharmas. Subhuti, therefore, with such characteristics of emptiness and characteristics of solitude, with the characteristics of the Prajnaparamita, all dharmas exist. The Blessed One said: Good, in this Prajnaparamita, what the Sravaka-yana, the Pratyekabuddha-yana, and the Bodhisattva-yana should learn, and how they should learn as taught, so that all the dharmas in which they will abide are extensively explained. Good, this profound Prajnaparamita encompasses all letters. The Blessed One said: Subhuti, the connection of habit is not a defilement, but the Sravakas and Pratyekabuddhas have the forms of body and speech of desire, hatred, and ignorance. The connection of their habits is not harmful in common with all ordinary people, but the Tathagata does not have them in any way and is not visible. Asked: Why is it called Prajnaparamita? The Blessed One said: Subhuti, this Prajnaparamita has attained the supreme shore of all dharmas, therefore it is called Prajnaparamita. If all these dharmas are held by the karmic results arising from dependent origination, why do you have the perception of reality in all dharmas that are without reality? When a Bodhisattva-Mahasattva practices Prajnaparamita, with skillful means, he turns sentient beings away from stinginess and engages them in the Paramita of generosity, and that complete giving of generosity will also become the cause of great enjoyment. The Samadhi of emptiness is the one-pointedness of mind in the aspect of emptiness and the aspect of solitude. The signless is the one-pointedness of mind in the aspect of peace and the aspect of signlessness. The wishless is the one-pointedness of mind in the aspect of impermanence and the aspect of suffering. How dependent origination
