The conduct of completely purifying practice, and the conduct of completely maturing sentient beings are completely pure. The complete purity of a Bodhisattva's discipline is fivefold: What are the five? Not showing oneself, not showing others, not speaking ill of those who have not learned, not touching the mind of a Hearer, and not desiring the state of a Solitary Buddha. As asked by Glorious Intelligence: If one cannot train in the five bases of training, then one should take and train in four, three, two, or even just one of them. If one cannot train in even one base of training, then one should not be attached to whatever sinful actions one engages in, not be forceful, and not be pleased. One should despise and reproach them. For virtuous deeds, one should do the opposite. Like something arising from golden sand, during the time it takes for the Elder Shariputra to speak a single word, he teaches countless teachings of the Solitary Buddha. During the time it takes for a Solitary Buddha to speak a single word, a Bodhisattva teaches countless, immeasurable, and inexpressible teachings, and also makes the meaning understandable. As asked by the son of the gods, Endowed with Steadfast Intelligence: Venerable Shariputra, if a son or daughter of good family relies on the view of self, or relies on the view of sentient beings, or relies on the view of life, then, for Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Ones, and the Sangha of monks, as many as the sands of the Ganges River, they would attend to and honor them with all the means of comfort for as long as they live. But if someone hears such a profound Dharma that is difficult to understand and is contrary to all the world,

If a daughter of a lineage relies on the view of self and has not heard this Dharma, then even if she serves and honors Tathagatas, Arhats, Perfectly Awakened Ones, as numerous as the sands of the Ganges River, it is not so. Shariputra, furthermore, any son or daughter of a lineage who listens attentively to this profound Dharma, but does not understand and abandons it, those sentient beings who go to hell will be liberated very quickly, but others who are attached and doubtful are not like that. In teaching the two truths, the Bhagavan said: Manjushri, for example, it is better for a poor and hungry person to endure hunger, but it is not so if he unknowingly eats poisonous food. Similarly, it is better for a Bodhisattva to be unattached, miserly, immoral, malicious, lazy, forgetful, and without wisdom, than to have the attachment of a Shravaka and Pratyekabuddha, and the combination of discipline, patience, diligence, meditation, and wisdom. The Bhagavan said: Son of the gods, for example, the food of a poor person is poison to a Chakravartin king. Similarly, the discipline and diligence of those attached to Shravakas and Pratyekabuddhas will turn into the immoral discipline to laziness for a Bodhisattva. The son of the gods said to Manjushri, who had become a youth: Manjushri, have you trained in the discipline of a Bodhisattva, or have you trained in the discipline of a Shravaka? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, what do you think? Is there any water in the great ocean that cannot be contained? The son of the gods said: All dharmas are completely unborn, called equality, whose term is that? Manjushri said: Son of the gods, that is a term without various ultimate meanings. He said: All dharmas are completely unborn and equal, why do they appear in various ways? Son of the gods, all dharmas are completely unborn and equal, but in the ultimate sense, due to the completeness of things, objects, and nature, they operate in various ways in the ultimate sense.

If one uses various things in a truly real way, the views of the object of focus will increase. Due to these many views of the object of focus, beings will involuntarily wander in various different states. If, son of the gods, for all dharmas, the state of not arising at all is equal, then, if one cannot fully understand their nature, essence, and things in a truly real sense, then they will not use various things in a truly real way. If they do not use various things in a truly real way, then, in the manner of proceeding in a state of truly complete non-thingness, they will truly realize the equality of all dharmas not being born at all, as well as equality. In conventional truth, conceptualization is the gateway to afflictions. Impermanence is the gateway to non-affliction. Bodhicitta is the gateway to all the Buddha's teachings. Prajnaparamita is the gateway to nirvana. In conventional truth, the eye of flesh sees sentient beings and the Buddha's fields. The divine eye sees the death and rebirth of sentient beings. The eye of wisdom knows the conduct and movement of the minds of sentient beings. The eye of dharma sees all dharmas as they truly are. The eye of the Buddha does all the deeds of the Buddha, but in a truly real sense, knows nothing and does nothing. It is said in the Sutra of the King of Definitive Analysis: Ananda, for example, the Udumbara flower appears at the same time as the birth of the Buddha, possessing color and being bright, its fragrance pervading a league in all directions. That flower eliminates dimness, completely trains mindfulness, and also completely pacifies diseases. Even a wheel-turning king cannot obtain it, let alone someone who has broken their vows. So, where does such a flower grow? It is said in the Jataka tales that to the north of the great Lake Manasarovar, there is a mountain called Five-Peaked Mount Meru, and across from that mountain, there is an Udumbara grove. When the Blessed One descends from Tushita and enters the womb, the buds of that grove will swell. When he is born, the buds will open. When he attains perfect enlightenment, the flowers will bloom. When he abandons the activities of life, the flowers will wither. When he passes into nirvana, the flowers and leaves
