The Thus Come One. The sign of transferring life from hell is a loud voice, a clear voice, and distrust of all sentient beings. The sign of dying and transferring from the animal realm is being sleepy, lazy, eating a lot, speaking unclearly, always curling up to sleep, saying one thing and doing another, and acting frivolously. The sign of dying and transferring from the realm of Yama is having yellow hair, always being hungry and thirsty, being stingy, having great greed, having the thought of stealing everything, and being very jealous of others' gains. Transferring from the Asura realm is being arrogant, quarrelsome, holding grudges, being conceited, having a large body, showing teeth, liking to sow discord, and despising everything. Transferring from the human realm is relying on the noble ones, longing for the noble ones, knowing shame and embarrassment, mourning friends, being generous, and having the power to master all languages. Transferring life from the Deva realm is being beautiful, very clean, liking the sound of music, having a loving nature, speaking gently, being eloquent, and being skilled at doing beneficial things. The cessation of the last consciousness is called death, and the arising of the first consciousness is called birth. King, when I was born, all the cities of Jambudvipa were as close as the distance a crow flies. From the Samadhi that gathers all merits, all meritorious deeds are included in and follow the generation of Bodhicitta. The Tathagatas, if the world realm in which the Bodhisattva dwells is not blessed into the nature of Vajra, then when he takes seven steps immediately after birth, eighty thousand poisonous harms will be eliminated downwards, and a stream of water as thick as the yoke of a waterwheel will flow from below. The power born from the parents of the Tathagata, starting from the power of ten people, increasing tenfold with cows, gods, Bodhisattvas, etc., is even greater than reaching sixty times. What then can a Bodhisattva ultimately obtain in one lifetime? The assembly of the Bodhisattva's precepts is superior to breaking the precepts.

I have extreme respect for those who possess discipline and learning. Having four qualities, giving will be exhausted: not dedicating the merit, lacking skillful means, pursuing inferior births, and relying on sinful friends. The opposite will not be exhausted. If a Bodhisattva comes to beg, one should not seize the servants, wealth, and kingdom of those who are unwilling to give. All dharmas are doors from all aspects, because they show the door to liberation from all aspects. Bodhisattvas who desire the Dharma have treasures of Dharma hidden in mountains, valleys, and trees, such as dharanis (གཟུངས།,dhāraṇī,陀罗尼,总持), and limitless doors of Dharma in the form of scriptures will also be obtained. Having four qualities, one will forget the mind of enlightenment: excessive pride, disrespect for the Dharma, disparaging virtuous friends, and speaking false words. Having four qualities, one will forget the mind of enlightenment: associating with Hinayana yogis, having faith in the Hinayana, slandering Bodhisattvas, and teachers concealing the Dharma. Hearing will make one know all dharmas. Hearing will not cause one to do evil. Hearing will cause one to abandon harm. Hearing will attain Nirvana. A Bodhisattva will not do evil even for the sake of life. Even for the sake of strengthening the body, one will not live in a base manner. Even for the sake of life, one will not beg from others with harsh words. For the sake of enjoyment, one will not engage in non-virtuous activities. Also, four things will cause one to forget the mind of enlightenment: acting deceitfully, showing off to sentient beings, speaking with a double tongue to virtuous friends, and being attached to gain and respect. Eighty-four thousand practices are for equally counteracting the three poisons of desire, hatred, and ignorance, with twenty-one thousand practices for each poison. If a Bodhisattva clings to certain views, even clinging to the views of the Buddha's teachings and Nirvana, that is also deceiving the body of the Tathagata. A Bodhisattva should make use of the three poisons, and also separate from them. Having equanimity towards all sentient beings, and taking rebirth in the five realms is loving-kindness. All sen
