If asked, evade with detours and skillful means. It is not to reveal the instructions openly. Do not trade the instructions publicly; realize them yourself. What you must realize yourself is: The key to the absence of awareness in the vessel of the Sugata's wisdom and the vessel of the six realms of sentient beings is that, from the beginningless time, the nature of profound clarity is without cessation, and the likeness of the five colors arises clearly. Although it arises clearly, it has no awareness; it is the quality of the body. The likeness of the five colors has never resided in awareness before, and it is impossible for it to reside there now. The key to residing in awareness is in the essences gathered by the inner essence: Clarity and immovability, without interruption, unchanging, like movement. The five qualities of the great Buddha have never been separated before, and they will not be separated now. The nature of body and wisdom is one because it is indivisible. The characteristics of body and environment are that their essence is different, but their nature remains one. Therefore, the distinction between residing in awareness and not residing in awareness arises. The fifth chapter of the Jewel Debate Wheel, which truly establishes the nature of the Dharmakaya, showing the importance of the basis of delusion. Again, the Great Sovereign asked: O Venerable Master, since the Sugata's mind has no ignorance, it is said that there is no end to the limits of the Vehicle. If we argue from the perspective of many Vehicles, how should we do it? The Great Master replied: Great Sovereign, listen! Since the differences in the minds of individuals appear differently, and since the Sugata's mind has no ignorance, it is said that it is not enough to express the top of whatever Vehicle is suitable. Since the minds of sentient beings are inexhaustible, it is not enough to express the number of Vehicles. If we summarize, they can be summarized into three types. The Vehicles of conditioned characteristics, the Great Perfection vast Vehicle, and the Secret Mantra Vajra Fruition Unchanging Vehicle. Great King, know this in this way. As soon as a dispute arises about the Vehicle of conditioned characteristics, it is to silence the inferior Vehicle and confuse their minds. Therefore, the characteristics of the lower Vehicle are shown. For example, in a well, a frog pretends to raise itself as a lion, but even if it counts for eons, it will not become a lion. Similarly, the Vehicle of conditioned characteristics cannot achieve the nature of spontaneous accomplishment.

Oh! Because action has no part, even if counted in kalpas, the Buddha cannot be found. Again, like the great sovereign, if you only argue with the characteristics of conditioned phenomena, ask whether it is permanent or impermanent. If you say that the result of conditioned phenomena is permanent, then the wealth of the rich is also the result of conditioned phenomena. In that case, there should be no emptiness, and emptiness should not be filled. Birth should not have death, and aggregation cannot have separation. Saying this would be a fault and a contradiction. If you say that conditioned phenomena are impermanent, then the result of the lower vehicle is conditioned phenomena, so striving for it is meaningless, and you will commit a double fault. The sixth chapter is the chapter on the debate and examination of the lower vehicle in the Wheel of Precious Debate. Again, the great sovereign asked: O noble teacher, if there is a dispute about the oral instructions of Dzogchen, how should one know? The great teacher replied: Great sovereign, listen! The characteristics of the oral instructions of Dzogchen are as follows: Black oral instructions, pointlessly wasting time. Thunder without rain, the meaning is very small. Emptiness is frightening, meaningless, and it is difficult to see the meaning of the body. The characteristics of the oral instructions of Dzogchen are: A bird's feather is blown away by the wind, lost because there is no place to land. Mountain shrubs are blown away by the wind, lost because there is no support. Even if the great Garuda cuts through the sky, it is lost because there is no place to rely on. Even a bad bird is skilled in the path of the sky. If you only argue about the oral instructions of Dzogchen, ask what is the nature of the Buddha? Ask what is the Buddha of the body? Ask what is the Buddha of speech? Ask what is the Buddha of mind? Ask what is the Buddha of the realm? If you do not understand the characteristics of the four Buddhas, and only chase after thoughts, the fruit will not ripen. Great sovereign, for example, when mother and child meet, four afflictions arise. At the time of realization, four Buddhas arise. If you hesitate between realization and non-realization, what are the signs of liberation? That sign is the guru's instruction. If you do not encounter the ultimate point of the instruction, and if the sign is not liberated in itself, then searching for the Buddha will not be found, Vajrasattva did not say so. The seventh chapter is the chapter on debating and examining the oral instructions of Dzogchen in the Wheel of Precious Debate. Again, the great sovereign asked: O noble teacher!
