I do not speak according to the nature of who is established. The remaining two should also be done appropriately in the same way. If arguing with non-Buddhists, then whichever of the two truths is established, it can be compared within the Buddhist view. All conditioned dharmas also have three natures, so one should commit to the view that possesses all three natures, and explain the establishment and refutation appropriately in those ways. What is straightforward? It is without addition or subtraction, like what appears in the Sutra of the Descent into Lanka, etc. What are addition and subtraction? There are also four types: adding to the nature of non-existence, adding to the view of non-existence, adding to the cause of non-existence, and adding to the thing of non-existence. Subtraction also has four types: subtracting from the nature of existence, subtracting from the view of existence, subtracting from the cause of existence, and subtracting from the thing of existence. What are those? Adding to the nature of non-existence is clinging to the aggregates, elements, and sense bases as a whole and permanent, and clinging to the way they appear as not other than suchness. Adding to the view of non-existence is clinging to the aggregates, elements, and sense bases themselves with the evil view of self, sentient being, life, nourishment, person, and individual. Adding to the cause of non-existence is the consciousness that was not previously born from a cause, later like an illusion, not having appeared before, from non-existence, as the cause of form and appearance, memory arises by entering beforehand, and it is held that it arises from non-existence and also perishes. Adding to the thing of non-existence is clinging to space, cessation, and nirvana as uncreated non-things. What is subtraction? It is subtracting from the true state of those natures, views, causes, or things, after adding to the three natures of dharmas in four ways. What is prophecy? It is answering the questions of others, namely, prophecy in one head, prophecy in separate explanations, counter-questioning, and not prophesying, these four. What are those? Prophecy in one head is: if one asks what the absence of self of phenomena does not exist in, then all phenomena are equally without self.

Thus and so on. If asked in terms of ultimate truth, what is the dharma that abandons both extremes? The answer is: all dharmas. And if asked: among the three times, which time's dharma does the all-knowing one know? The answer is: he knows all the dharmas of all times. And if asked: do all sentient beings die or not? The answer is: they die. And so on. For common dharmas, if asked in a one-sided manner, a single prediction is given. The way of predicting separately is: if asked whether all dharmas are permanent or impermanent? The answer is: conditioned dharmas are impermanent, unconditioned dharmas are permanent. And if asked: are there differences among the three bodhis? The answer is: in terms of liberation, there is no difference, but in terms of the dharmakaya, there is a difference. And if asked: do all sentient beings arise or not? The answer is: those who are associated with afflictions arise, those who are without afflictions do not arise in the way that those associated with afflictions arise. And so on. For questions that ask from individual characteristics to general characteristics, they are explained separately. The way of predicting by asking back is: without mentioning the moon, how much difference is there between good and bad? Or how much difference is there between bad? Then ask back: what has been abandoned, what has been created? Similarly, if asked whether all sentient beings who hear the name of the Tathagata regress or do not regress from unsurpassed bodhi? Then ask back: if the seed of a tree, all the faults of the seed have been eliminated, then how will it change from the conditions being complete and incomplete, to sprouting and even to completion? Also, if a living being is cut off, and asked whether it is alive or dead? Then ask back: if you have power over me, what should be done? And so on, for seeking faults and accusations, the answer is given by asking back in a concealed way. The situation of not making a prediction is: if asked what is the nature of non-duality and unspeakable? Then, like the noble Immaculate Fame, one does not speak. And if asked: is the so-called "self" permanent or impermanent? The answer is: since there is no self, permanence and impermanence are both unspeakable, so no answer is given. If one speaks of purity and impurity, or harsh words, unless it is a debate on dharma, no answer is given. The situation of not making a prediction is not to avoid it with the example of the Khenpo, but in a way that can be understood, there is no need to explain and expla
