Non-existence from somewhere is not absolute. Negating "is not" means that the word has meaning, indicating that the meaning is also negative; indicating that it is only non-existent from somewhere; separated from smallness, etc.; indicating difference and inferiority. All of those, by showing the main part, are its individuals. Gathering with "and" is of two kinds. Among them, similar gathering is: gathering suffering with impermanence. Dissimilar gathering is: like gathering reason with impermanence. The combination of those is, knowing one through the combination of one "and"; in some cases, only gathering the "and" itself; in some cases, gathering the words of combination. In order to gather those words and meanings, it is the place of gathering. The place of transformation is easy to understand. The place of leading is the four possibilities, from is and is not, and both are and neither are, for one thing leading to the four possibilities, by establishing one dharma, establishing "is" is established, like establishing that a person has the dharma of happiness, establishing that happiness exists. By negating the dharma of extreme happiness, it is established that suffering is not more than happiness. Through the path of those two, it is established that both are, that is, through the path of producing happiness, it is both happiness, and because unhappiness exists, it is also unhappiness. Leading to one from the four possibilities is of two kinds. Among them, having the word of self-nature is "is not," and "non-human," because establishing and negating self-nature, so the former is establishing and negating difference, therefore it is related to one self-nature. Having the word of difference, like a human individual, or a blue lotus, etc., the basis of difference is the lotus, the difference is not blue; the difference is blue, the basis of difference is not the lotus; both are, that is, it is also a lotus, and the difference is also blue, like this, from the four situations of neither of those, choosing one. For the third possibility, it is a difference, but there is no non-basis of difference, like it is white, but there is no situation of not being a color. For the second possibility, it is the basis of difference, but there is also no situation of not being a difference, using the statement of "also" is gathering the previous, like understanding the interval, etc.

There is neither interval nor non-interval, nor is there interval but non-interval. There are eight places where letters enter, such as sounds and languages. Among them, a symbol is what connects names and names, that is, the common characteristic of sound and meaning, which is the nature of having time to make others speak. The so-called pillars of names, etc., are the characteristics of the sound itself. When the common characteristics of the sound and meaning that connect them are expressed, focusing on the meaning and the knowledge arising from the sound, due to the attachment to the thought that "this name is said like this," in one knowledge there are both the form of seeing and other meanings, and the form of sounds such as pillars. If they are separated in order to make others understand, that is necessary. Here, which should be grasped as the definite object of connection and connection? For the conceptual thought that focuses on meaning and arises from sound, the connection is definite, because the object of connection depends on the common characteristics of meaning and the common sound of connection. Otherwise, even if it arises from sound, it only focuses on the sound itself. The knowledge arising from hearing the speech of a Yaksha does not depend on the common characteristics of meaning, but only takes the heard sound as its object. The conceptual thought of the sound form and the characteristic of the sound itself that arises from determination can also make others merely hear it. That is because it has not arisen before focusing on the meaning, so there is no ability to connect names and name-holders, and because it does not depend on the object of connection, it is not the connection itself. Therefore, it is necessary to explain focusing on meaning. Some people, although arising from focusing on meaning, also have cases where there is no sound form for those who are not familiar with symbols, therefore it is explained that it arises from sound. Some people, although the knowledge that previously focused on meaning and arose from sound has arisen, do not have conceptual thought mixed with expression at present due to uncertainty, therefore it is explained as manifest attachment. Arising from hearing the speech of a Yaksha, there is also conceptual thought that only takes the sound of the Yaksha as its object. If the conceptual thought that takes the sound itself as its object and another conceptual thought that is self-conceived become objects, then even if there is such a conceptual thought, it is the common meaning mixed with expression.
