From there, I again bestowed help. The fruit of the horse sacrifice became a source of merit. Having received excellent offerings, may merit be obtained by the world. Rejoicing at receiving help, they circled around Dangkhra. We bowed our heads and spoke some words. Dangkhra prophesied there, "Go to the snowy land (Tibet), dwell in a place with lush foliage, pleasant and full of water." Having said these words, the horses went to the joyful mountain king. Angered by the destruction of the sacrifice, Dangkhra uttered "Haha." Therefore, this sound of "Ha" was given to the horses. On that sacred mountain, the horses resided there, enjoying themselves as they pleased, and because of the mixing of species, the birthplace of horses and donkeys was said to be mixed. When a donkey mates with a horse, a mule is produced from it. From a mule and a mare, a creature called "Gori" is born. When Gori mates with a mare, a creature called "Kini" is born. Kini is born from a mare and is called "Kisa Tata." Kisa Tata mates with a mare and produces a "blistered one." The blistered one mates with a mare, and it is said that a donkey is produced again. If a donkey is seen coming, all the horses will become confused. There are many things and they are difficult to learn, therefore riding a donkey is an enemy. Therefore, this is like a mule, a true horse produced from unmixed mating. One's own and the horse's birthplace, the donkey's birthplace is considered to be two kinds. The horses do not engage in mating in the wombs of other animals. If they really do so, know that that place will be destroyed. Therefore, I release horses, the meaning of sacrifice lies in the essence of livestock, destroying enemies, increasing wealth, and so on, is the essence of the kings' armies. Then, delighting in the meaning of words, being devoted to performing sacrifices, residing in young celibates, Shali Hotra (phonetic) was a great ascetic. The forest on the side of the snowy land (Tibet) became like a garden of the gods. He settled there, the scenery of the mountains was delightful, the mountain fauna was widespread, various kinds of Kinnaras resided, numerous birds chirped, and the daughters of the Gandharvas surrounded him.

Oṃ. The assembly and gods, adorned by the playful siddhas and sages, delightful with many flowers and fruits, covered with excellent, lush forests, an extremely pleasing place, delightful, where they resided. There, starting from butterflies, wild animals and so on gather there. Horses and gandharvas, as well as kinnaras, mongooses, snakes, and birds, lions, tigers, and pigs, elephant kings, monkeys, and bears, and many others. The great sage Shalihotra, self-controlled and pure, when dwelling near the hermitage, Shalihotra raised those horses like his own sons. They played on the snowy mountain, becoming subject to Shalihotra. Therefore, the gods quickly went to Shalihotra's abode. There, quickly to you, Shalihotra will give. The supreme god Brahma said thus to the gods, and joyfully said, "Let it be done thus," and they set out for that excellent mountain. Then, in an instant, Indra, Yama, the water god, and the glorious lord of wealth, together went to the sage's abode. Having arrived, at that hermitage, they spoke these pleasing words: "Sage, for what reason do you dwell in austerity, accomplishing austerity? Come, assembly of siddhas and sages, proceed to the abode of virtuous people." Then, I said to Indra, the destroyer of enemies, "I do not need to practice austerity again; let it be done thus." Then, Yama spoke these pleasing words to me: "Without old age, without death, without end, like the abode of the king of gods, the best of all places in the world, that place I will give. Food, cushions, and beds, and whatever comfortable conduct, without a dwelling, in this forest, ascetic, how have you become so distressed?" The gods, including Indra, I call them all gods. I eat roots and fruits, my clothes are tree bark and animal skins. In recitation and fire offerings, my mind merges without end. The hardships of wild animals also always come to my hermitage. Other guests who arrive suddenly, and winged birds, are to be watched. I live with them, I have no desire for the realm of the gods. Then, Yama, the conqueror of enemies
