Do, or stay here. Then all the horses spoke to me in sweet words: Seeing this empty forest, we are mostly sad, where will you go? We follow you, not elsewhere. After following you, our actions will be praised. Then I was surrounded by horses, together with the comfortable enemy, and went to the land of the Brahmins where the gods had agreed. He used the grass of Ashvattha, took fire from the rubbing wood, I made a fire offering, and satisfied the gods and demons. Then spreading all around the border of that place, those horses ate all the grains. Then the Brahmin saw that the grain was destroyed, and was angry, and with an angry look, spoke harsh words to him: When other Brahmins who used to live in asceticism came here, they lived here for many years through asceticism, Brahmacharya, recitation and fire offerings, and also pacified the plague, how did you come here with such beasts? From which road did you come, go back from that road. We cannot stop your plague. I said to the angry Brahmin, an apologetic opening remark: I don't like horses eating grain and hurting you. Because I was busy with the fire offering, I did not prevent the damage to you. Then I gathered all the horses and said these words: Look at what the local people have said to me. In order to make them happy, tie you up well for a while. Then when it was night, use it again as you please. Then because they had not experienced the feeling of being bound, it was easier to be bound. The gods believed me with a mind that aroused interest. Then calling the water god himself, he tied the horses with water ropes, together with the five limbs, to the tree in order. After being bound, even though there was strength, there was no movement. After being tied closely, holding a sharp weapon, the gods from the front and back

The wings of the horses were cut off. Then, even if the wings were cut, they would still grow back. After that, they were burned with fire, and flames arose from the burning. After being bound and without wings, when the horses were in distress, at that time, the gods took them away as they wished in their hearts. The moon carried one like a white rabbit, the sun carried a color like a peacock's neck feathers, Indra carried a blue-green color, Yama carried black, Agni carried a color like a red flower, Vayu carried red and yellow, and Varuna carried blue. Other suns carried a gray color, the great god carried yellow, and various karmas carried rainbow-like colors. The sun Susi carried a black nose, and Tvaṣṭṛ carried a name. Other gods each carried them according to their own wishes. After dividing the horses in this way, the remainder was left to me, for the tasks needed in battle, as well as characteristics and signs, healing and escape, and I managed them closely with my sons. My sons, named "Victorious over Friends," "Unconfused," and "Smallest," were named because of their determined merits, and these three sons became wise. Peaceful and victorious over all friends, therefore he is called "Victorious over Friends." Because the teachings of the lineage are unconfused, therefore this is called "Unconfused." Because he is very happy with my words and always does this, therefore he is called "Doer," the name of the smallest. Then, another great horse, named "Mana," was given by the son of Brahma. Apart from that, the other horses became proficient in various tasks. They were trained for riding and also used for various works. I, because of old age, sought liberation and slept among the horses. Then, the angry horses, thinking I was asleep, began to try to kill me. They gathered together, and because of resentment, they spoke to each other with sad hearts. We are bound and killed, from where will suffering arise? The root of all this is this sleeping sage. Therefore, we should retaliate, and it would be better if we were eaten. Then, after cutting the bonds, they gathered to kill me. I thought about what method would bring comfort, and then I fell asleep. After that, awakened by the gods, I cursed the horses.
