If the body color is like a deer, and the hooves grow like fingers, it is called "mouse claw." Such a horse brings separation. Laziness should be abandoned. If (a horse's) two legs are white, it is neither auspicious on the battlefield nor can it increase glory. Regarding the result of having white legs, I will explain it extensively. If the right foreleg of any horse turns white, it will cause things not to succeed on the battlefield. If the left foreleg turns white, it will create factors that harm the army. If the right hind leg is white, it will kill the owner. If the left is white, it will cause the rider to be captured along with the horse on the battlefield. If both forelegs and, similarly, the left hind leg are white, it will cause the owner to be stabbed to death by arrows and spears on the battlefield. If both forelegs and, similarly, the right hind leg turn white, it will cause the owner to die on the battlefield, and then it will die itself. If the left foreleg is white and both hind legs are white, if that horse enters the battlefield, it will die together with friends. If all four legs are white up to the lower part of the shank, it is said to produce great results. If the end of the hair, the heel, or any part of the crown of the head turns white, that horse is more special than what was said before, and it will produce the result of a wish-fulfilling jewel. A horse that is white between the knees will clearly manifest results. If a horse has other colors and the color of the legs does not match the color of the body, its results should be understood according to the distinctions previously mentioned. If (a horse's) two hands are white and the two legs are black or red or other colors, then it will be victorious during the day. The opposite of that
