A meteor that falls like fire, relying on the later hours, will cause sacrificers to die, and likewise, sacrificial activities will become terrifying. When a meteor rushes about with a great sound, falling in various countries and towns, the king will always die. When rain falls abundantly from the east, following the path of the sun and heading west, reaching the land of Magadha (present-day southern Bihar, India), even if crops ripen, there will be crop failure and famine, and it is said that wars will arise in the world due to its own disharmony. Kings and wealthy household members will also die, and many such evils that harm the world will occur. Wherever meteors fall that are like Kunda flowers, the moon, and silver horses, they foretell the victory of kings, good harvests, and peace. A great meteor, with a color that blazes brightly, very smooth, and like the light of silver and crystal, foretells rainfall, there is no doubt about this.
