I can endure asceticism, and for the stability of the body, effort and strenuous exercise are the best. The best for curing urinary incontinence is Tribulus terrestris. For coughing up phlegm, spiny eggplant is the best. For pain in the ribs, the creeper called Puskara Mula is the best. The best for making old age strong is Amla. The best for healing wounds is Triphala and Guggul. In this way, in the manner just described, the best medicines for curing all kinds of diseases have been explained and pointed out, and these medicines are able to pacify and cure diseases. For this, various appropriate medicines should be prepared according to the power of the region and season. In this way, the root text spoken by the son of Common Knowledge, because it was not completely finished, those who enter like fire, etc., salute with like-minded faith. This question was asked by the one who enters like fire. In this way, in this manner, hearing the meaning of the root text from the son of Common Knowledge, and explaining it well and examining it with valid reasoning, one's own understanding of the meaning is stable, easy to understand, and of great significance, therefore the disciples such as the one who enters like fire, etc., were not satisfied and content. They bowed their heads with like-minded faith, and were praised among the disciples called Upright Sheep, etc. The one called the one who enters like fire, asked the son of Common Knowledge about the doubts that were not certain in his mind. Some fortunate people, who are themselves intelligent, have abundant medicine and care, and even if they follow the teachings of an old doctor, they still suffer from illness, and the life of the disease seems to be exhausted. Others present the opposite situation. Therefore, if the results of benefit and harm are uncertain, then what does the scripture teach here? These are the words of questioning. O fortunate son of Common Knowledge, some people are themselves intelligent and wise, possess abundant medicine and equipment, and also possess abundant care, and even if they follow the advice of an old and experienced doctor, they still seem to exhaust the life of the disease. Other patients are the opposite of this, they are not intelligent themselves, they have no medicine or equipment, they have no care, and even if they are treated by unskilled doctors, they do not exhaust their lives.

It appears as a transformation. Therefore, the fruits of becoming beneficial and becoming harmful are not certain. Even if a beneficial action is done, the fruit will be exhausted. Therefore, the characteristic of medicine that protects life is not absolute and not certain. Like this, because action is uncertain, what meaningful thing does the medical treatise reveal here, and what necessary thing should be done? Because that state does not have a definite fruit, there is nothing to reveal. Therefore, the ways of taking medicine and not taking medicine are the same, so this treatise should not be composed. Like this, for the students who enter like fire, doubts arise, and to this, the son of Constant Knowledge completely explained all of that, treatment and non-treatment cannot be equated. For this, like that, for the students who enter like fire, doubts and hesitations arise, and to this, the great sage, the son of Constant Knowledge, completely explained the truth of the meaning without reversing it, that is, alas! Entering like fire, medicine with four limbs, possessing perfect virtues, adorned with sixteen virtues, and non-treatment, that is, not possessing the collection of four limbs and sixteen limbs, considering them as the same and equal is unreasonable and inappropriate. Why? Possessing sixteen limbs, treatment will become comfortable, although there is, but for those who are immersed in the mud of disease, the only way to pull out and lift up from the hand is medicine. For this, Charaka said, even if there are patients who are freed from disease and stand up without medicine, that is because the limbs of medicine are perfect and treated, and there is originally no disease. For example, for a person who falls and falls, even if some people have a little ability to stand up, but if another person pulls up from the hand, then he will stand up very quickly and without pain. Completely the combination of medicines for treating patients
