It means that whatever collection of veins that stays in the heel and becomes connected to the toes, is harmed by that wind and causes disease, enters upwards from the thighs, and shrinks and contracts, that is said by the sages to be the wind disease of body shrinkage. It speaks of the Vishachi and body shrinkage, it speaks of the unbearable Nava Kalira. It means that the Vishachi of the wind disease that previously entered the forearm, and the wind disease of body shrinkage that has just passed, both of which appear to be unbearable, that is said to be the wind disease Kali. Whose feet are entangled, and become stiff, caused by the disturbance of phlegm and wind, that is said to be foot entanglement. It means that someone's two feet are entangled, and become numb and stiff by making a crackling heat, that is caused by a mixture of phlegm, and that disease is called foot entanglement. The wind combined with bile and blood, heats up in both feet, especially when walking, that is said to be foot heat. It means that the wind disease combined with bile and blood, causes a rushing heat in both feet, and especially the disease that becomes even hotter when walking, that is called foot heat. The commentary called "Moonlight on the Meaning of Words," an explanation of the essence of the Eight Branches, was certainly composed by Acharya Chandrakantha. This is the commentary on the fifteenth chapter on the basis of disease.
