That is because one cannot enjoy eating and drinking, etc. Carrying heavy loads on the head is carrying, laughing excessively and talking too much, stiffness and twisting the body causing numbness, drawing a stiff bow, sleeping on an uneven pillow, chewing hard food, these generate wind. The wind gathers in the upper part of the body, causing half of the face to become crooked, and also when speaking, laughing, and looking. After that, that person's head will shake, speech will be unclear, eyes will be stiff, teeth will move, the voice will be hoarse, one cannot hear sounds, there is numbness, one cannot smell odors, and memory is lost. When sleeping, one becomes stiff, spits saliva to the left, one eye closes, and until the throat, it is unbearable to feel pain, or half of the body or the lower half of the body is in pain. Some say this is hemiplegia, others say it is unilateral curvature. That is to say, carrying heavy loads on the head, lifting from one place to another, laughing excessively, etc., twisting the body causing numbness, chewing hard food, etc., these generate and increase wind. Not only that, but whatever substances that generate wind that are not mentioned here will increase the wind and gather in the upper part of the body. This will cause half of the face to become crooked, and similarly, when speaking, laughing, and looking, it will also become crooked. After that, that person's head will shake and tremble, speech will be unclear, eyes will stare stiffly, teeth will move, etc., spitting saliva to the left and not spitting straight, one eye closes, and until the throat, etc., it is unbearable to feel pain, or half of the body, or the lower half of the body is in pain. This disease is called hemiplegic wind disease. Others say it is unilateral curvature. Wind relies on blood and enters the veins of the crown of the head, becoming rough, accompanied by disease, and the color turns black. This vein is untreatable. That is to say, wind relies on blood to circulate.

Then, if it enters the place called "Head Controller," it becomes rough and painful, and makes the color black. Such a disease is called "Root Controller," and it is impossible to cure and treat. The wind seizes one half of it. Having dried up the vessels and tendons. It harms whichever half of the body. It loosens the joints' connections. It makes all of that half of the body. Unable to move the body, without sensation. That is called one-sided disease. Others explain it as one-sided dryness. That is to say, the wind seizes one half of the body and stays there, having dried up the vessels and tendons, it harms or is unfavorable to whichever half of the body, the right or left side, it loosens the joints' connections and makes them creak, and the disease where the patient's half of the body is completely unable to move, unable to perform movements, without sensation and numb, is called one-sided disease. Other sages explain it as one-sided dryness. The wind disease of the whole body is similar to that. It is dependent on all the limbs. That is to say, one-sided dryness and the wind disease that invades the whole body are similar in terms of loss of sensation, etc., and it should be known that this is a disease that depends on all the limbs. Wind disease alone causes hemiplegia. It is said to be very difficult to cure. That is to say, wind disease alone, which is not mixed with other diseases, causing hemiplegia is very difficult to cure. Mixing with others is also difficult to cure. That is to say, hemiplegia caused by wind mixing with other diseases, whether it is phlegm or bile, is also difficult to cure. Exhausting causes should be avoided. That is to say, hemiplegia caused by exhausting causes should be avoided because it cannot be cured. Accompanied by undigested phlegm. Blocking the channels, making the body stiff. Causing loss of all stretching and bending. Like wood, it is stiff like wood. That is to say, wind disease accompanied by undigested phlegm. Blocking the channels of the wind, making the body stiff and immobile, causing the loss of stretch

The loss of all bodily actions such as bending and stretching, becoming as stiff as a stick, is therefore called being as stiff as wood. The wind that enters the shoulder veins, staying there and contracting the veins, causes the arm to be unable to move, which is the wind disease of arm paralysis. It is said: Whatever is connected to the palm fingers, causing the back to contract, and the function of the arm to be lost, that wind is called Vishache. It means that a certain disease faces the center of the palm and is connected to it, causing the water called "water accumulation" to contract in the back, and the wind contracts the back of the arm, causing all the functions of the arm to be lost, and all moving actions cannot be performed. The name of this wind disease is called Vishache, as the sages said. It is said: When the wind stays in the waist and enters the veins of the thigh, then that person becomes a cripple. It means that when the wind disease stays in the waist and adheres, enters and invades the veins of the thigh, that person becomes a cripple, with leg pain and staggering gait. Entering both thighs will become paralysis. It means that when the wind staying in the waist enters both thighs, the function of both thighs is lost, and it becomes paralysis. It is said: When starting to walk, the body trembles, walking like a cripple, the joint connection is loose, that is called pea cripple. It means that when someone starts to walk, abandons the act of walking, and walks tremblingly like a cripple, that person's joint connection is loose and damaged, that is called a pea-like cripple. Food mixed with hot, cold, dry, and wet, excessive reliance on heavy and greasy food, digestion mixed with undigested, uncomfortable activities, sleeping during the day and not sleeping at night, leading to severe indigestion, etc., if it enters the inside of the thigh, phlegm, fat, and wind together, overwhelming other diseases.
