Some teachers possess valid cognition of treatises, while others not possessing valid cognition of treatises is not the case; otherwise, everything is measured by valid cognition. For example, in the case of diseases and medicines, etc., it means that the strength of the medicine is estimated based on the strength of the disease. The word "etc." indicates that it is estimated based on the power of the place, time, body, body size, food, habits, courage, and the power of nature. It should be known that this treatise is a supplement that needs to be completed. Whatever teachers who know healing consider other purgatives, the treatise for all of these is also this one, and not another. "Strong purgative administered, good signs not seen, do not interrupt until seen." This means that as long as the signs of administering a strong purgative are not clearly seen and have not appeared, the administration of enemas should not be interrupted. Therefore, until the signs are clearly seen, strong purgatives should be administered. This is what is being shown. These are just approximate examples. When administering mild laxatives, too, as long as the signs of the mild laxative working well have not appeared, the administration should not be interrupted, but the mild laxative should be administered until those signs appear. Because this approximate example also applies to mild laxatives, the author of the treatise here, quoting from the Compendium of Eight Branches, said this: "First oil one, last five, strong purgatives twelve, the act of purgation including mild laxatives, is said to be thirty." This means that the administration of strong purgatives, the second, fourth, sixth, eighth, tenth, twelfth, fourteenth, sixteenth, eighteenth, twentieth, twenty-second, twenty-fourth, etc., similarly, there are twelve administrations of strong purgatives, the third, fifth, seventh, ninth, eleventh, thirteenth, fifteenth, seventeenth, nineteenth, twenty-first, twenty-third, twenty-fifth, etc., and including mild laxatives, that is to say, through this ritual, the method of administering purgatives is said to be thirty. The time is ten

One of these fifteen is: the initial oil, and the final three. Fumigation and purgation are said to be the fifth. Thus it is said. The time for purgation is fifteen, how is it? Initially, the first is one of oil, and the last is three times of oil, namely the thirteenth, fourteenth, and fifteenth, similarly, six medicines, namely the second, fourth, sixth, eighth, tenth, and twelfth, how is it? Five emollient enemas for purgation, namely the third, fifth, seventh, ninth, and eleventh, thus the strong purgative medicine is interrupted and cut off, so the time for purgation is fifteen. The compound for purgation is eight, namely: niruha and three oils, both the beginning and the end. Thus it is said. The compound for purgation is eight, this compound is both the beginning and the end, namely the work of oil said in the first and eighth, three niruhas, namely the second, fourth, and sixth, three oils, namely the third, fifth, and seventh, thus generally eight is the compound. Emollient enemas or strong purgative medicine should not be relied upon excessively alone. Emollient enemas calm diseases and extinguish heat. Niruha can generate wind and there is fear. Therefore, after oil, administer strong purgative medicine, and after strong purgative medicine, administer emollient enemas. Thus, oil therapy is performed sequentially. Purgation can eliminate the three diseases. Thus it is said. Therefore, for the person who is to be given strong purgative medicine, the three compounds of emollient enemas should be
