Then, for the evening or the patient: When hungry, bathe with warm water, and then consume rice porridge made from Salu and Rtsa snar rice, etc., in sequence. This means that after the bloodletting is finished, in the evening, that is, after the sun has set, or in the morning of the following day, in order to restore the weakened bodily functions after bloodletting to their original state, if the previous bloodletting caused hunger and thirst, bathe with warm water and keep clean, and then consume rice porridge made from Salu and Rtsa snar rice, etc., according to the order described below. Not only should you consume porridge, etc., but also drink rice cooked with Rakta shali, etc., with a little oil, salt, and cheese, and dishes similar to it. Depending on the strength of the digestive fire, follow this method when feeling hungry in the evening or morning. Do not cook the clear porridge too thick. Clear broth, meat broth, three kinds, two kinds, one kind. Do not use superior, medium, or inferior purgatives to purge. People should consume them in order during meals. That is to say, porridge refers to ordinary rice porridge that is slightly thicker. Thicker than that, able to cling to a spoon, is thick porridge. Unseasoned clear broth refers to broth cooked only with Munga beans, etc., without adding turmeric, long pepper, fennel, asafoetida, vitex negundo, etc. Broth cooked with Munga beans, etc., with turmeric and other seasonings added, is seasoned clear broth. Meat broth refers to meat broth seasoned with pure meat. Here it is said: There, broth is extracted from meat, broth is extracted from grains, broth is extracted from fruits. Kha lo, roots, sesame residue, sour taste, are mostly dry. These are with or without oil, seasoned or unseasoned. It is said like this. The five kinds of food, such as porridge, etc., should be made into three kinds, two kinds, and one kind, in order, according to the quantity, without disturbing the order. Do not use superior, medium, or inferior purgatives to purge. People should consume and enjoy them. People who have been purged with superior, medium, and inferior purgatives, and whose illness has been eliminated, should only eat porridge at the three meals.

One should consume them separately in the order from clear broth to meat broth. That is, the duration from the three kinds of porridge to meat broth. For the superior practitioner, there are three methods: consuming three types of food during meal times. For the intermediate practitioner, there are two methods: consuming two types of food during meal times. Similarly, for the inferior practitioner, there is one method: consuming one type of food at each meal, progressing from porridge to meat broth. In this regard, one should drink porridge in the evening of the first day. On the second day, one should drink porridge during two meal times, thus consuming porridge during three meal times. On the third day, one should consume thick porridge during two meal times. That is, one should eat porridge that is not thin and can be easily scooped up with a spoon, thus enjoying thick porridge during three meal times. On the evening of the fourth day, one should enjoy uncooked broth during one meal time. That is, on the fifth day, one should drink uncooked broth during two meal times, thus consuming uncooked broth during three meal times. On the sixth day, one should consume cooked broth during two meal times. On the morning of the seventh day, one should consume cooked broth during one meal time, consuming it during three meal times. On the evening of the seventh day, one should enjoy something close to meat broth during one meal time. On the eighth day, one should consume meat broth during two meal times, thus consuming meat broth during three meal times. This is the order of practice, progressing from plain porridge to meat broth. Similarly, for those who practice with greater effort, one should consume porridge and so on during two meal times. On the morning of the fourth day, it is also uncooked. In the evening, it is cooked broth, and on the morning of the fifth day, one should also consume cooked food. In the evening, it is meat broth, and on the morning of the sixth day, one should also consume meat broth. From that evening onwards, one can eat normal food. Similarly, for those who practice with lesser effort, one should consume plain porridge and so on during one meal time, and in the evening of the first day, one should consume plain porridge.
