It appears as such, therefore it should be understood by the following. That is, if one possesses these signs of death, one will certainly die, and if one does not possess them, one will not die. If a doctor knows as it is stated in the scriptures, then the signs of death are certain. If one is unskilled, unexamined, or crude, then one cannot be certain. Some doctors say that the patient and the signs of death exist in a relationship of support and supported, and the appearance of signs of death is also due to the great disturbance of diseases, which manifests externally. If the disease subsides, the signs of death will not appear, and if it does not subside but possesses the signs of death, one will certainly die. One should understand by these signs of change of the signs of death that appear below. That is, observing the state of nutrition, the senses such as the eyes, the tone of the voice, the nature of the five great elements, and the signs of shadows in the sun, mirrors, water, etc., and also the various actions and deeds done through the three doors of body, speech, and mind, and the actions of one's own nature completely decline, and change to another state, this is shown as a sign of death. Anyone whose hair and body hair appear oily without being oiled, whose eyes move very much, who stares without blinking, or whose eyes sink deep and then come out, whose eyes are crooked, whose eyes are swollen, whose eyes become small, similarly, whose eyebrows become long, whose eyebrows collapse, who squints, or looks down, who is red like the eyes of a female and a mule, who is red like a burning wheel, who sheds tears for no reason, whose eye mucus is turbid, similarly, whose nose becomes large, or becomes small, is covered with small pimples, is swollen, has a stuffy nose, whose inside of the nose is dry, whose lower lip droops, whose upper lip turns over, who loses the original color and becomes red like a ripe jambu fruit, or becomes blue. Anyone whose teeth and gums are like the color of a white conch shell, whose teeth suddenly swell, whose teeth become loose, whose teeth turn black.

For example, just as water does not stay on the petals of a lotus, if someone washes their body with clean water, or water does not stay on the body of a swimmer, then they will also not live more than six months. If you see your body looking oily without applying oil, or see smoke billowing from the top of your head, then you will surely lose your life within a month. Whether it is hair or eyebrows, the edge of the hair naturally separates, or the hair appears to be curled up like a bun, if this person is not sick, then they will die in six days, and if they are sick, they will die in three days. For someone, if the tongue is black in color, a rotten smell comes from the mouth, the left eye is sunken, and a bird falls on the top of the head, then that person should be completely avoided. If after taking a bath, the body is smeared with oil, or after just taking a bath, all other parts of the body are moist, but only the heart dries quickly, then that person will not live more than half a month.
