遍及一切处而存在。又，与大仙人们广大无垢的意旨之理相符，如大海般广大的支分汇集之义，是两种相近的象征。从如海一般的八支医学中提炼，取出了这如甘露堆般的八支汇集。为了那些智慧低下且不勤奋的人们，特意单独宣说了这部续。此续被称为大论，是极能成就的，是能明显示现果实的，犹如咒语的加持成就一般。此续不像那些徒有行为的论典一样毫无意义。念诵、理解和随之修习此续，必定能获得长寿、无病、佛法、财富、安乐和名声。如果理解并念诵此续，也能理解八支汇集的意义。即使是那些习惯于自己治疗工作的医生们也会心生动摇，所以更应努力。通晓并了解其他广大的医学续部也很稀奇，如果了解遮罗迦和妙闻等所说的医典，也仅仅是知道了疾病的名称而已。即使通晓了遮罗迦所说的医学著作，那也不是完整的治疗，必定无法医治那些被疾病折磨的人们。对于这应很好地学习和理解的医学著作，这先于一切关于人生的知识，对于此不感到厌倦且不进入精进之顶峰的人，实在是太愚痴了。梵天之子说，对于风、胆、涎，芝麻油、酥油和蜂蜜依次有益且能平息。这是未加粗略衡量，而是细致地划分和区分了药物的效力。因此，我了解了医学的自性，从而详细地阐述了药物的效力和特点。因此，应该舍弃嗔恨和嫉妒，选取其中合理的。如果大仙

It pervades and exists in all places. Moreover, it accords with the principles of the great and immaculate intentions of the great sages. It closely represents the two meanings of the collected branches, which are as vast as the great ocean. Having churned the eight-branched medicine, which is like an ocean, this collection of eight branches, like a heap of nectar, has been extracted. For the sake of those who are of weak intellect and lack diligence, this tantra has been specifically taught separately. This is renowned as a great treatise, is supremely accomplished, and manifestly demonstrates the fruit, just like the accomplishment of mantra application. This is not meaningless like those texts that are merely behavioral. Reciting, understanding, and subsequently practicing this tantra will certainly lead to the attainment of longevity, freedom from disease, Dharma, wealth, happiness, and fame. If one understands and recites this tantra, one will also understand the meaning of the collected eight branches. Even doctors who are accustomed to their own healing practices will be moved, so one should strive even more diligently. It is also very remarkable to comprehend and understand other vast medical tantras. If one knows the medical texts spoken by Charaka and Sushruta, one will only know the names of diseases. Even if one understands the medical writings spoken by Charaka, that is not complete healing, and one will certainly not be able to heal those afflicted by disease. For this medical writing, which should be well learned and understood, and which precedes all knowledge about human life, it is extremely foolish for one not to be weary of it and not to enter the supreme state of diligence. The son of Brahma said that sesame oil, ghee, and honey are beneficial and pacifying for wind, bile, and phlegm, respectively. This is not a rough estimate, but a detailed division and distinction of the potency of medicines. Therefore, having understood the nature of medicine, I have elaborately explained the potency and characteristics of medicines. Having faith in the teachings of Napo Tzaraka, Susruta, Gzingchen, and others, I have not mentioned their scriptural authority, and I have spoken thus. Therefore, this well-spoken medical tantra is something to be practiced. From the ocean of one's own nature, the science of life, having explained this rite that is condensed like essence, whatever merit is accumulated, may it be attained, and may all beings attain happiness through it. The chapter made by Rotzapa, the fortieth chapter. The son of the lord of medicine, named Senge Babpa, the great physician named Pakhol, from the collected essence of the eight branches, the place of the later tantra is completed, and from the essence of the eight branches, the sixth place, the last, is completed.
