Fine powder, the powder made by grinding these, and water equal to eighteen times the total amount of powder, along with pieces of iron, are placed in an iron vessel. Leave it in the sun for three days, then boil and stir it over a large fire underneath, and when a quarter of the liquid remains along with the pieces of iron, filter out the residue, leaving the juice. Then add the juice of three fruits, each of which is equal to the medicinal juice. Each of the three fruits should have two parts of juice each, and add four ounces of ghee. Mix these together and boil them in an iron vessel, and when only ghee remains, add pure honey, white sugar, and honey, and then drink it as needed. If you eat and take it as food, etc., you will become disease-free, have splendor, and purify sins. You will be as strong as a forest buffalo, as swift as a horse, your limbs will be firm, and your hair will be as black as a bee. If you take it like this for a month, you will become a man-lion with the color of pure gold. You will never be attacked by disease or obstructed. First, after cleaning the body with an alkaline bath, eat the leaves of Bhrngaraja fried with ghee, along with a protective ritual. Take the heartwood of the Asana tree with milk, and take it for the purpose of nourishment. If you continue this for a month, you will live to be two hundred years old. By just saying it once, you will remember what you have heard, and your memory will not decline. If you also make Bhrngaraja oil according to the above ritual, you will obtain the same merits. In particular, the color will become darker. Thus, this tonic that I have described is powerful, bears fruit, is in accordance with the times, and is praised by many. Other tonics are difficult to obtain.

If the ritual of taking essence deteriorates and causes illness, then treat it with the medicine for each specific disease as described, and the ritual of taking essence should be abandoned. To speak truthfully, to be without anger, to have superior intention, to be victorious over all battles, to have a peaceful mind, and to always rejoice in the holy ones are the qualities of accomplishing the essence practice. If these qualities are gathered, the essence practice will be accomplished, that is, knowing oneself, having a long life, being happy and joyful in both this world and the next, acting in accordance with the scriptures, observing one's own mind, and engaging in harmony with one's retinue. Not being confused about anything is the complete perfection of essence. The chapter on explaining the ritual of taking essence is completed, the thirty-ninth chapter is finished. Then, the chapter on nourishing the seed and making it joyful will be explained. For a man who is always attached to women, he should take medicine to make him joyful. If he takes medicine to make him joyful, there will be joy, the vitality of the body will increase greatly, and he will have the qualities of producing and abiding in children. The lineage of children will flourish and increase, immediately producing joy, just as one can approach a wild mare, one can approach women without hindrance, and one will become attached to and fond of women. Whatever increases the seed is called making it joyful, and it is also the supreme method for the generation of bodily strength and veins.
