If those treatments do not subside, then perform fire therapy; for phlegm disorders, perform fire therapy in the same way. To eliminate wind disorders causing hemicrania, perform the same procedures. Similarly, combine treatments according to the nature of the illness, and combine them as appropriate. Mix the seeds of auspicious grass, the root of Avamarga, salt, and tongue-licking salt, and administer as a nasal medicine. Alternatively, use either Salaparni or Chakramarda, whichever is available, mixed with sour substances, and apply it to the head. For those with head ailments that rotate like the sun, perform the same procedures as above, especially bloodletting. For head ailments caused by bile, first perform oil therapy, and then after the oil therapy, perform bloodletting. Apply ointments with cooling properties, perform infusions, purify with body-reviving baths, and also administer purgatives. Alternatively, use a butter drink made by boiling the ten life-supporting herbs with butter, and also use nasal infusions. For head ailments caused by blood, treat them in the same way as bile disorders. Treat mouth corner ailments in the same way as bile disorders, but avoid severe and prolonged conditions. For head ailments caused by phlegm, perform oil therapy with old butter, and then administer emetics with hot medicines. Use rough, warm, and sharp medicines for fumigation, application, and nasal infusions. For head ailments caused by mixed disorders, combine medicinal treatments, and fasting is also highly praised. For head ailments caused by parasites, administer nasal infusions with the blood of any parasitic creature, so that the internal parasites come into contact with the blood. Due to the odor of the blood, the parasites will faint and then come out through the nose and mouth. Then, prepare nasal medicines with very sharp medicines, inhale smoke, apply ointments, and mix medicines beneficial for parasites, such as haritaki and turmeric, as well as the ashes of svarjika, danti, and costus root. It is beneficial to mix these with the juice mixed with cow urine. You can also prepare nasal medicines from any hot medicine, neem, ingudi, bilva, and the seed oil of any of these. Alternatively, mixing haritaki and turmeric with urine and administering it as a nasal infusion is the best method for eliminating parasites. Mix the medicine Putimad salt with haritaki and turmeric and inhale the smoke.
